We have finally completed our research and community survey in Roehampton to gather ideas for what local people would like to see on their community mural. Now we are inviting you to our last workshop session to help bring those ideas together.

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve received funding from the Wimbledon Foundation Community Fund, in partnership with the London Community Foundation, to deliver a Community Mural Art Project! 🖌️🌟

This exciting initiative will involve children, young people, parents, schools, and local residents in designing and painting murals that celebrate identity, culture, and community.

More than just art — it’s about coming together, telling our stories, and bringing life and colour to shared spaces.

🌿 Guess what? Hidden gems in the heart of Battersea Park! 🌿
As part of our Walk to Wellness project , we took a stroll through not just one but two incredible gardens in a single day — the charming English Old Garden and the peaceful Herb Garden! 🌸🌱

The English Old Garden was like stepping into a storybook – full of roses, historic design, and quiet beauty. Then we discovered the Herb Garden, bursting with different herbs and medicinal plants — such a surprise, and our members were fascinated by it all! 💚

Moments like this remind us how powerful nature can be for our wellbeing. 🧘🏾‍♀️🌼

Bambi’s got company! We spotted so many adorable fawns during our walk in Roehampton Park. Their big eyes, wobbly legs, and gentle nature are simply heart-melting! Head down and see these beauties for yourself—trust us, it’s worth it!

This week’s Bracing for Change: Walk to Wellness was full of surprises! As we strolled by Lombard Wharf in Battersea, we spotted birds gliding above, a helicopter landing, and even a charming boat house—new sights for some of our members! The fresh air, movement, and good company made it a perfect way to boost both body and mind. Walking isn’t just exercise; it’s an adventure! Step by step, we explored new sights on our Bracing for Change: Walk to Wellness journey! From birds soaring high to a surprise helicopter landing, the blue sky and tall buildings made for a stunning backdrop. Some of our members had never seen a helicopter landing before—what a discovery! Walking is not just about movement; it’s about experiencing the world around us. Join us next time!

🏆✨ The Halfway Home Homework Club has officially wrapped up its season, and what an incredible journey it has been!

Our children took a customised end-of-term social skills exam, and we’re thrilled to share that every single one of them achieved excellence! 🌟

This season, we’ve witnessed tremendous growth in their communication skills, social ethics, confidence, self-esteem, and, most importantly, their academic achievements. 📚💡 These young stars have exceeded all expectations, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Here’s to building brighter futures and celebrating the amazing potential of every child. 💛
