We are a community based voluntary sector organisation and award winning leading service provider for children and adults with learning disabilities.

The Tower Project is a community based voluntary sector organisation providing a range of services to children, young people and adults with disabilities who are resident within the Corporation of London, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, London Borough of Hackney, London Borough of Newham and surrounding London Boroughs. The Charity was estabilished to support the needs of the local community and

from its small beginnings has developed into a large registered charity that provides services on a number of fully accessible sites. Providing Respite Services, Youth and Leisure Services, Day Services, Education and Training Projects, Employment Services, Information and Advocacy Services, Holiday and After School clubs, Community Cafes, Social Enterprises and Supported/Supported Living; the project works closely with many local and national partners in the delivery of its services. The Tower Project provides a range of services to specific groups within the community most notably Learning Disabled, Physically Disabled, Autistic, Deaf/Hearing Impaired, Blind/Visually Impaired, Deaf/Blind and Mental Health. The Tower Project is a community organisation that is constantly growing and developing and has been the recipient of many local and national awards recognising the quality of services provided along with the important contribution it has made to the community.

A busy few weeks for our New Dawn service members! 🌟

From getting out and about in the community to learning new skills, trying new activities and celebrating together, there’s been plenty going on.

Our recent activities have included a visit to Stepney City Farm, a mini sports day at Mile End Park, gardening sessions and a fascinating Spirit of the Wild exhibition at New Dawn. 🦉🌱

Service members also took part in a Money Shop presentation, enjoyed an Eid celebration together and got involved in the Mile End Sports Day. 🏅

A special congratulations to Adjoa, who came first in cricket at the sports day! 👏🏏

It’s great to see everyone getting involved, building confidence, learning and, most importantly, having fun together.

🎶 First Start Music Session! 🎤

Our First Start group had a fantastic time getting creative in this week’s music session! 🎵

Together, they recorded their voices and worked on creating their very own song. It was a brilliant opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun!

This week we came together for a wonderful Supported Living Lunch at the Limehouse Library Hotel.

It was fantastic to see our Supported Living service members, their families and our dedicated staff enjoying good food, great company and time together. We were also delighted to be joined by our CEO Gerald and our Chair, Jill.

Moments like these are a reminder of the importance of community, connection and celebrating the people who make The Tower Project so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon such a success. 💙

Supported Living and Ryan are enjoying a wonderful week away in Bournemouth, staying at a beautiful house called Hidden Lakes and what fantastic weather for it! ☀️

It looks like the perfect setting for a relaxing break, with plenty of space to unwind, enjoy time together and make some special memories.

We hope the group have the best week and we look forward to sharing more photos soon!💙

This week, some of our members took part in Disability Sports Day 2026, organised by Vallance Community Trust and held at Mile End Leisure Stadium.

Everyone got involved in a range of activities including races, cycling, football and more, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork and determination throughout the day.

It was a fantastic opportunity to stay active, try new sports, build confidence and most importantly, have fun alongside others from the local community.
