Day is a reminder that it's always okay to ask for help, and always okay to check in on someone you're worried about.

A simple "how are you, really?" can open a door. If you're the one struggling, you don't have to have the right words just reaching out is enough.

Support is there, day or night.

Cholesterol gets talked about a lot, but here's the number that actually matters: a healthy total cholesterol level is 5 mmol/L or below.

It's measured with a simple blood test, and it doesn't come with obvious symptoms – so the only way to know your number is to check it. If it's been a while (or you've never had it done), our GPs can arrange a test, book through link in bio.

This week marks Zero HIV Stigma Day. Over 111,800 people are currently living with HIV in the UK, and more than 5,200 of them don't yet know it.

Testing and treatment have moved on enormously; with early diagnosis, HIV is a manageable, long-term condition. Stigma remains one of the biggest barriers to people coming forward for testing. Normalising the conversation matters. Our GPs are here to talk, test, and support confidentially and without judgement.
