โ˜€๏ธ Knowing the risk factors for skin cancer can help you protect your skin and reduce your risk.

Risk factors include excessive exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun or tanning beds, frequent sunburns, fair skin, a personal or family history of skin cancer, numerous moles, and a weakened immune system.

Having one or more risk factors does not mean you will develop skin cancer, but taking preventive steps can make a difference.

Protect your skin by wearing sunscreen, seeking shade, wearing protective clothing, and checking your skin regularly for new or changing moles.

โ˜€๏ธ Skin cancer is often treatable when found early. Knowing the warning signs could save your life.

Watch out for a new or changing mole, a sore that doesnโ€™t heal, a spot that bleeds easily, changes in the size, shape, or color of a mole, or an itchy or painful skin lesion.

Not every skin change is cancer, but any unusual or persistent change should be assessed by a healthcare professional.

Check your skin regularly. Early detection saves lives.

PCOS has a new name: PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome).

Why the change? Because this condition affects much more than the ovaries. It also impacts hormones, metabolism, fertility, skin, and overall health.

The name has changed, but the condition remains the same.

If you were diagnosed with PCOS, your symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options are still the same.

This new name better reflects the whole-body nature of the condition and helps raise awareness about its broader health effects.
