Spooky season scares 👻

With Halloween just round the corner, we asked Drs Tatiana + Rishi what scares them most as aesthetic clinicians 😱

Their responses?

Pretty much the same thing, just in two different ways: anatomy matters ⏯️

For Dr Tatiana, one of her key concerns from a non-surgical perspective is the arterial system - particularly high-risk areas such as the nose, nasolabial folds and around the eye. In the wrong hands, injecting filler into a vessel can have VERY serious consequences 😱

For Dr Rishi, from a surgical perspective, his horror movie is the facial nerve - especially during procedures such as a deep plane facelift, where the dissection is carried out in the very layer where the nerve branches live. Damage to these structures can affect movement in areas such as the brow or corner of the mouth 😱

The reassuring part? In experienced hands, with a detailed understanding of anatomy, the right training and safe technique, these risks are very unlikely 🙏

And that is exactly why choosing the right practitioner matters so much 👏👏👏

Whether surgical or non-surgical, safety starts with knowledge, anatomy and experience - never shortcuts ❌
