Meet Lili👋

Lili joined Rushcliffe Care Group at just 18 as a carer, with no qualifications. She never imagined that she’d be on her way to becoming a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

Through Rushcliffe, Lili was supported financially through her nursing education and gained 3000 hours of placement experience across our varied services. This gave her the opportunity to learn, develop and discover where a career in nursing could take her.

Now, Lili is receiving her nursing pin this November as takes the next step in her career. 🎓

Lili says she couldn’t have done it without the people around her at Rushcliffe who gave her opportunities, encouraged her and pushed her to believe in herself, even when she was afraid of failing.

Her journey is a great example of the career progression and development opportunities available at Rushcliffe, and we’re incredibly proud of how far she’s come🩵

On 25th September, we held a Fall's Cafe for Falls Awareness Day!🩵

Staff and residents came together to enjoy Falls Bingo, word searches, crossword puzzles and even a zumba class.🧩💃🏻

It was a great day of activities, laughter and conversation, while helping to raise awareness of falls prevention across Rushcliffe.
