🍽️ We’re delighted to invite members of our retirement community to join us for our June Community Meals. Whether you’re in the mood for a traditional Sunday roast 🍖🥔 or a classic fish and chip lunch 🐟🍟, our talented chefs 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 will be serving up delicious homemade favourites in a warm and welcoming atmosphere ❤️.

🤝 These meals are completely FREE of charge, offering a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, friendly conversation, and a chance to experience everything Meadows Park has to offer.

On Sunday we celebrated the end of Dementia Week with a lovely summer bike afternoon at the care home 💙☀️🏍️🛵

Residents, staff, families, and friends came together to enjoy the sunshine, share stories, and support such an important cause. From smiles and laughter to cheering each other on, it was a reminder of how powerful community can be.

Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the afternoon so special. Every conversation, every mile, and every moment helped raise awareness for those living with dementia and their families 💜

Our awesome team here at Meadows Park have raised 🥁🥁🥁£706.60 for Alzheimer’s Society 🎉🎉🎉 we are so proud of everyone who got involved and did their bit, your truly a wonderful bunch.

Yeehaw! 🤠🌾

Meadows Park will be hosting a fantastic Rodeo Picnic for the community of Louth and the surrounding areas, so come along and join us for an afternoon full of fun, laughter, great food, music, and community spirit!

There’ll be something for everyone to enjoy including BBQ favourites, a delicious crawfish boil, garden games, children’s cowboy fancy dress, music, and even a rodeo bull for those brave enough to give it a go! 🌭🐂🎶

Bring your friends, family, picnic blankets, and your best cowboy hats for a wonderful community day packed with entertainment and good times. We can’t wait to welcome you all! 🤠⭐

💜 A HUGE thank you to every single amazing person who took part in our 24hr treadmill walk in support of the Alzheimer’s Society 💜

Over the 24 hours, our incredible walkers covered an impressive 85.49 miles to help raise awareness and funds for those affected by dementia. What an incredible achievement! 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Together, through sponsorships and donations, we have raised a fantastic £298 so far! Every single pound raised will help support people living with dementia and their families.

As part of Dementia Action Week we have been making wonderful memories together and celebrating the power of connection, conversation and reminiscence 💜

So far we have enjoyed trips to Woodthorpe Garden Centre where we loved walking around admiring all the beautiful plants, flowers and garden displays. It sparked so many lovely conversations about the gardens we used to have, the vegetables we once grew and the pride we took in keeping our gardens looking their best 🌼

On Wednesday we were entertained by the wonderful Tara Strafford Allen who took us on a musical journey through the 40s, 50s and 60s. There was plenty of singing along, dancing, smiling faces and memories shared as the music brought so many special moments flooding back 🎶

Throughout the week we have also been keeping our brains active with memory games, quizzes and activities designed to encourage conversation, laughter and stimulation.

Today we made the most of the sunshine by spending time outdoors chatting about everything still to come this weekend with our fundraising events taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Conversations quickly turned to memories of motorbikes from years gone by, stories of rides taken, adventures shared and the freedom of being out on the open road 🏍️☀️

Dementia Action Week is all about understanding, support and creating meaningful moments — and this week has already been full of them 💜
