🌹 A little bit of summer, made for September…
Remember those dried roses I told you not to throw away?
Well, this is what I’ve made with some of mine.
A beautiful bath salt blend using flowers from my summer garden and ingredients that feel like the perfect little bridge between summer and autumn.
200g Dead Sea salts & Himalayan pink salts
5ml hazelnut carrier oil
6 drops Rose Geranium — a little nod to summer
6 drops Sweet Orange — warm, bright and uplifting
8 drops Patchouli — earthy and grounding as we move towards autumn
Dried rose petals
A few whole dried rose heads from my summer garden
I adore trying to follow the footprints of our ancestors, and one thing I love about this time of year is that, although we're moving into autumn, we're still using what we've grown and gathered through the summer.
I'm an autumn girl at heart, but I love noticing that gentle shift in the seasons and carrying a little of each one into the next. 🍂
From summer garden… to September bath. 🌹
Love Kirsty x
P.S. I'll be transferring my salts into a jar to keep them in — but for now, they're sitting pretty in my bowl! 😂
P.P.S. Always check safety data before essential oils. I'm always happy to advise ✨
