A Soothing Botanical Massage oil 🌼

I’ve always had a bloated belly in the lead up to my period, and I know so many of us do too — including during perimenopause.

Since my endometriosis diagnosis, it’s all made a bit more sense… “endo belly” is such a common symptom.

While I’m still figuring out how the doctors can support me (that’s a journey in itself), I also want to use my aromatherapy training to make gorgeous nature based recipe..

This is lovely for anyone dealing with endometriosis, bloating, PMS, PMDD, inflammation or just that general hormonal “ugh” feeling:

🌼 Calendula-infused oil – often used for soothing irritated or inflamed tissues and makes a lovely gentle carrier.

💜 Lavender – well known for relaxation, discomfort relief, and helping calm the nervous system.

🌿 Frankincense – commonly used in aromatherapy for inflammation support and emotional grounding.

🌼 Roman chamomile – one of the gentlest oils for comfort, tension, and supporting relaxation during pain flare-ups.

🌸 Geranium – traditionally associated with supporting the menstrual cycle, mood, fluid retention, and feelings of balance.

Recipe:
30ml calendula-infused oil
3 drops lavender
4 drops frankincense
2 drops Roman chamomile
3 drops geranium

Just add a few drops to your hands, warm it up, and massage gently into your lower abdomen in slow circles.

It's great to put on before bed as all the oils are also incredibly calming!

Always check safety warnings of oils before using or DM me.

I will be sharing a post next week about the healing benefits of chamomile 🌼

Hawthorn: May Birth Flower 🤍🌸

Hawthorn souls are compassionate, intuitive, and quietly resilient — symbols of hope, love, and protection. Like the blossoms that decorate hedgerows in late spring, they carry a soft kind of magic ✨

Long associated with folklore, fairies, and the turning of the seasons, Hawthorn has been treasured for centuries as a tree of the heart and a guardian of the May Queen.

I always think how wonderful to have the hawthorn as your Birth Flower. They really do take your breath away with their beautiful aroma. Is anyone a May baby?

The second May birth flower is Lily of the Valley, carrying its own delicate beauty and meaning 🤍

Daisy: April Birth Flower

Today is the last day of April, so I want to leave my birth month with a little bang and share the joy of the daisy 🌼✨

Daisy souls are warm, kind-hearted, and quietly strong — a gentle symbol of innocence, renewal, and simple joy.

Like the flower, Daisy babies are gentle but resilient, down-to-earth, grounded, and carry a quiet strength within them.

The second April birth flower is Sweet Pea, delicate and full of its own quiet magic.

Are you born under the Daisy like me?

Green witchcraft looks like this for me… 🌿

I feel so lucky to follow other green witches on here — we all share our own special connection with the earth.

For me, it’s about working with Mother Earth and sharing the wonder of plants, trees and flowers.

Each day looks a little different. Today I picked lemon balm to infuse, planted comfrey, and hung flowers up to dry, while tending to my chamomile.

Through aromatherapy, mindfulness, and a love of folklore, I hope to gently share the magic of flora and fauna… and the stories they carry ✨

If you love plants too, I’d love to connect with you over at 🌿

How do you connect with the earth?

Alder: The Celtic Tree of Strength 🌳

Alder is the fourth tree of the Celtic zodiac and it's mine and my twin brother’s birth tree. Alder souls are resilient, brave, and quietly courageous.

They often support others without fuss and have a grounded wisdom that draws people in. Alder loves to grow near water, so it carries a gentle connection to both earth and water elements—just like me and my dear (A total water witch!)

Alder tree dates: 18th March to 14th April

I’m making my way through all 13 Celtic trees. Follow to discover yours 🌳🌲🪾

Were you born under the mighty Alder like me?
