Katina Chapman - The Empowerment Empress - Reign in your fears and self-doubt and have unbreakable confidence. Hi, I'm Katina Chapman and I run Katina Chapman Hypnotherapy and Spiral of Light, offering a wide range of alternative therapies that complement each other. Each therapy is designed to help you empower your life, build confidence and feel stronger and healthier. I worked for over 20 years

in Human Resources as a HR Manager and Head of HR. During my time I helped many people overcome anxiety and stress, build confidence and empower their lives. I used the many skills I picked up coaching people as well as the more esoteric skills of meditation and other spiritual practises. I work with people who are looking to make positive changes in their life. Many of my clients are looking to manage stress, get rid of fears and phobias or lose weight and adopt a new set of habits easily. Habits that are realistic, that meet their goals and that they can live with in the long term. I recently helped a young girl, who was afraid of flying, fly for the first time to be a bridesmaid in Greece. I helped a boy with a severe fear of dogs, that he'd had his whole life, become relaxed around dogs and even get a puppy. I helped a business executive who was struggling to manage stress, increase productivity and be less stressed at the same time. I love helping individuals and groups make positive changes in their lives. Nothing encourages me more in my business than hearing the next client who says ‘you’ve changed my life.’

I make positive changes with clients in the minimum of sessions possible. I offer a telephone consultation free of charge and will give an honest opinion as to whether hypnotherapy is the way forward or not for an individual’s issues. This page concentrates on my Hypnosis and NLP side and how you can use these skills to gain control of your life and become more contented and fulfilled. If you would like to know more about my other therapies, events and workshops then please see my other page for Spiral of Light.

As part of Small Business Week, I'd like to celebrate a small business that has made a real difference to me.

Many of you know that I spend my days helping people take care of their mental wellbeing, but it's just as important that I take care of my own physical wellbeing too.

That's where Matt comes in.

As my personal trainer, he has a wonderful ability to encourage and challenge me whilst always being supportive and positive.

There are days when I arrive feeling tired, busy or full of excuses, and somehow I always leave feeling stronger, more energised and glad I showed up.

As a therapist, I often talk about the importance of small, consistent steps. Matt embodies that philosophy perfectly.

As I write this, Matt is stepping on stage today for a bodybuilding competition that he's spent the last seven months preparing for.

Watching someone consistently show up, stay committed to their goals and keep going even when motivation isn't always there is inspiring.

Good luck today, Matt. You've put in the work and deserve to be proud of how far you've come.

Small businesses thrive because of passionate people who genuinely care about helping others, and Matt is one of those people.

So, as part of Small Business Week, I'd like to say thank you.

If you're looking for support with your health and fitness goals, I highly recommend checking out what he does.

One of my favourite things about running a small business is meeting inspiring people who are passionate about helping others.

As part of Small Business Week, I'd like to celebrate my friend Emma.

Emma is both a personal and business coach, and what I admire most about her is the way she combines encouragement with honest, thoughtful support.

Running a business can sometimes feel lonely.

Having people around you who believe in you, challenge you to think bigger, and remind you of what you're capable of is incredibly valuable.

Emma is one of those people.

She genuinely wants to see others succeed and has a wonderful way of helping people uncover their strengths, gain clarity and move forward with confidence.

Small businesses are built on relationships, community and people helping people, and Emma is a beautiful example of that.

Thank you for all that you do, Emma. ❤️

If you've worked with Emma, I'd love to hear what impact she's had on your journey.

As Small Business Week comes to an end, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has liked, shared, commented, recommended me, attended training, bought my book, booked a session, or supported my small business in any way.

Every recommendation matters.
Every kind word matters.
Every client matters.
And every small business owner knows just how much those acts of support mean.

When I wrote Grief: A Journey Through Emotions, my hope was to create the book I wish I'd had during my own grief journey.

To celebrate Small Business Week, I'm making it available for £10 plus postage until Sunday 7th June.

If you've been thinking about purchasing my book, "Grief: A Journey Through Emotions", the Small Business Week offer ends tonight.

Comment "BOOK" below, and I’ll send you the link.

Thank you for being part of my journey ❤️

When people think of my business, they see the sessions.
They see the therapy room.
They see the social media posts.
They see the book.

What they don't always see are the moments behind the scenes.
The evenings spent creating resources.
The courses and training.
The books I've read.
The notes I've written after a client has gone home.
The times I've sat quietly thinking about how best to help someone.
The tears shared with grieving clients.
The celebrations when someone achieves something they never thought possible.
The messages that arrive saying:
"I did it."
"This is the first time I've felt hopeful."
"I finally slept."
"I got on the plane."
"I walked past the dog."

Small businesses are often built from hundreds of unseen moments.

And mine began with one very personal moment.
Watching my husband live with chronic pain and discovering how powerful hypnosis could be.

That one experience changed the direction of my life.

This Small Business Week, I'm feeling grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey.

Every client.
Every student.
Every reader.
Every recommendation.
Thank you ❤️

BTW For one week only, Grief: A Journey Through Emotions is available for £10 plus postage (usually £18.99).

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching people realise they're stronger than they thought.

I've seen clients:
✨ Take their first flight in years
✨ Speak confidently in public
✨ Sleep through the night again
✨ Return to work after anxiety
✨ Feel comfortable around dogs, lifts, water, or travel
✨ Find hope after grief and loss

Not because I'm magically fixing people.
Because they already have the resources within them.
Sometimes they just need the right support to access them.

Helping people feel safe enough to change is what I do best.
And I never take that privilege for granted.

To celebrate Small Business Week, my book Grief: A Journey Through Emotions is available for just £10 plus postage until Sunday 7th June.

If you've been thinking about buying a copy for yourself or someone you care about, this is the perfect time.

Whether you're grieving yourself or know someone who is struggling with loss, I hope it brings comfort, understanding, and hope.

Small Business Week Offer ❤️

Last year, after losing my brother, I wrote a book called:
"Grief: A Journey Through Emotions"

Writing it became part of my own healing journey.

My hope was simple:
To create the book I wish I'd had when I was grieving.
A book that feels like sitting with a friend who understands.

Message me for details or to order a copy.

This week I'm taking part in Small Business Week.

When people think of a small business, they often think of products.

But behind every small business is a story.

Mine started after my husband Neil suffered a life-changing accident that left him living with chronic pain.

When I discovered how powerful hypnosis could be in helping him manage that pain, it changed the direction of my life completely.

Today, I have the privilege of helping people overcome anxiety, fears, stress, low confidence, grief, and so much more.

As a small local business in Lowestoft and Norwich, I want to say thank you to everyone who has trusted me, referred friends and family, attended training courses, bought my book, or simply followed my journey.

Your support means more than you know.

Thank you for supporting small businesses this week ❤️
