Wondering what actually happens during a sexual health consultation? 💙

It starts with a conversation.

We’ll listen to what you need help with, ask relevant questions to understand your circumstances and explain any tests, treatment or support that may be appropriate.

And importantly, you’re part of that conversation too. You can ask questions, understand your options and be involved in decisions about your care.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you need. That’s what the consultation is there to work out.

Back from holiday? ✈️☀️ Before you rush to take an STI test, timing matters.

Different STIs have different window periods, meaning it can take time after exposure before an infection can be detected by a test. Testing too early could mean an infection isn’t detected yet.

Not sure when you should test? Our team can advise you based on your individual circumstances.

And remember, if you have symptoms, need emergency contraception, think you may need PEP or are worried about something that happened while you were away, don’t wait to ask for help.
