Today, we turned up the fun and cooled down with water gun fights and water-themed games! 💦🔫 Our residents had an absolute blast, with plenty of laughter, smiles and a little bit of friendly competition! 😂❤️

Mary said, “Today I felt like a child again!” 🥰 And honestly… we think that says it all!

A lovely day out for Olive! 🛍️🍬

Olive enjoyed a trip to the local shops, where she picked out some sweet treats to share with her friends back on the unit. She also enjoyed meeting the shopkeeper and spending time out in the community.

What a fantastic day we had celebrating summer together! 🌸🌞

Our residents enjoyed wonderful live entertainment from our talented singer, bringing smiles, singing and plenty of happy memories. 🎤🎶

There were delicious ice creams to help everyone cool down, juicy fresh fruits, and a beautiful buffet prepared by our amazing kitchen team. 🍦🍉🍓🥪

A huge thank you to our wonderful kitchen staff for preparing such delicious food and making the day extra special for everyone. Your hard work is truly appreciated! ❤️👏

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a joyful atmosphere. Seeing our residents smiling, laughing and enjoying time together is what makes days like this so special. 💛

Here at Capwell Grange, we’re proudly cheering on the England team and wishing them the very best of luck! 🇬🇧❤️

To get into the football spirit, our residents teamed up with Rise for our very own Cup Match today – and we’re delighted to say… Capwell Grange are the champions! 🏆🎉

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, friendly competition, and fantastic teamwork. Now we’re hoping England can follow our lead and bring home another victory!

🌿 Namaste in the Garden 🧘‍♀️☀️

Yesterday our residents enjoyed a wonderful Namaste session, ending with gentle yoga and relaxation in the fresh air.

Spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature, brought a sense of calm and wellbeing. The session encouraged movement, mindfulness and meaningful connection, leaving everyone feeling relaxed and refreshed.

🌍⚽ What a day! ⚽🌍

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Day and spent such a wonderful day with our residents, families and team. Seeing our garden full of smiles, laughter and community spirit made the day truly special. ❤️

Our RISE sports session was fantastic, the DJ kept everyone dancing, the BBQ and ice cream went down a treat, and the sunshine certainly made an appearance too! ☀️🎶🍦

There was even a visit from the police… although the youngest officer on duty may have stolen everyone’s hearts! 🚓👮‍♂️ Our little policeman made sure everything was under control while bringing plenty of smiles to residents and visitors alike.

Most importantly, our residents enjoyed every moment, surrounded by friends, families and our amazing local community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered and helped make the day so special. These are the moments that create memories and remind us what Capwell Grange is all about. ❤️

Yesterday, our residents took part in a wonderful Time Capsule activity, creating personal memory bottles filled with special keepsakes, photographs, messages, dreams and treasured memories.

Residents enjoyed reflecting on their lives, sharing stories and discussing the people, places and moments that mean the most to them. Each capsule became a unique snapshot of a life well lived, sparking meaningful conversations and plenty of smiles along the way.

Activities like this help promote reminiscence, self-expression and social connection, while celebrating the individuality of every resident.

We enjoyed a refreshing Fruity Friday at Capwell Grange! Residents were treated to a colourful selection of fresh fruit, including watermelon, pineapple, oranges, kiwi, grapes and strawberries, alongside delicious homemade fruit punch and smoothies.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles as everyone enjoyed healthy treats, socialised with friends and stayed hydrated during the warm weather. A simple activity that brought lots of joy and encouraged healthy eating.
