VOTING CLOSES TOMORROW!
Exciting news – we need the support of our FUN families!
Families United Network, as part of the Luton VCS SEND Futures Programme, has been shortlisted for the Luton Rising Partnership Fund and the final decision is now going to a public vote. What could this mean for FUN?
If our programme is successful, the funding would enable us to expand our Junior and Senior Respite provision, helping us provide more opportunities for children and young people who are currently waiting to access these services.
For FUN, the funding could mean:
• More places at Junior Respite
• More places at Senior Respite
• NEW Junior Respite sessions during the school holidays
• A wider range of activities and opportunities for children and young people
• More opportunities to build friendships, confidence and independence
• More much-needed respite for parents and carers
We currently have a significant waiting list for our respite services, so this funding really could make a difference to many FUN families.
️We need your vote!
Luton residents living in LU1–LU4 who are aged 16 or over are eligible to vote.
Voting is open from Friday 2nd October until Friday 9th October.
When you reach the voting page, there is something really important to look out for
Our programme is listed as: Autism Bedfordshire – Luton VCS SEND Futures Programme
Please don't worry that it says Autism Bedfordshire rather than Families United Network. Autism Bedfordshire is the lead organisation for the consortium and FUN is one of the five charities that would deliver the SEND Futures Programme.
On the voting page you will see the option below:
You can click Details to find out more about the programme and then select the box alongside “Autism Bedfordshire – Luton VCS SEND Futures Programme” to vote.

Every vote counts and every vote could help us provide more respite opportunities for FUN families.
Thank you so much for supporting us – we really couldn't do what we do without the continued support of our members and families.
