September is here.

For us, that means one thing above everything else.

Saturday 19th September. Woodside Farm, Luton. 09:00–14:00. Free.

17 days away.

We’ve spent months building towards this, bringing together speakers, creating space, and doing everything we can to make sure that on September 19th, men across Beds and Herts have somewhere to go.

Guest speakers. A workout session. Mindfulness. Free breakfast. Three powerful stories. Honest conversation. No pressure. No judgement.

Just brothers showing up for brothers.
If you’re coming, brilliant. If you’re not sure, keep watching this week.

Because we’ve got a lot to tell you about what’s waiting for you on the 19th.

August is behind you.

September is here and with it, the most important date in our calendar.

September 19th. 19 days away.

If you haven’t already, share our event post. Tag a man who needs to see it. Tell someone at work. Put it in the group chat.

Because here’s the truth: the men who most need to be in that room on September 19th are the ones least likely to find it themselves.

They need someone to say: “There’s this thing. Come with me.”

That someone could be you.

We’ll see you there.

This is our second annual awareness event, aligned with World Su***de Prevention Day and Men’s Mental Health awareness.

Last year over 80 men showed up. This year we’re going bigger, with more space, more voices, and more brothers in one place.

No clinical stuff. No pressure. No forms to fill in. Just men, community, and the kind of conversations that save lives.

If you’re a man, come.
If you know a man who’s struggling, bring him.
If you’ve never done anything like this, that’s exactly why you should.

Share this everywhere. The more men who see it, the more men who show up.

Rest is not a reward for finishing everything.

You will never finish everything. The list doesn’t end. The inbox doesn’t empty. The jobs around the house don’t stop appearing.

And yet most men wait until they’re completely depleted before they allow themselves to stop. Running on empty and calling it fine.

Your body and brain need rest the way they need food and water. It’s not optional. It’s not lazy. It’s maintenance.

This week, build in one moment that’s just for you. Not productive. Not useful to anyone else. Just rest.

You’ll be better for everyone around you because of it.

CALM: 0800 58 58 58 — 5pm to midnight, free, for men.

Anxiety is your brain trying to protect you.

The problem is, it’s not very good at telling the difference between a genuine threat and a thought.

Here are five things anxiety tells you and what’s actually true:

“Everything is going to go wrong.”
Most things won’t. Name one thing that’s actually certain to go wrong. Usually you can’t.

“Everyone noticed / everyone is judging me.”

People are mostly thinking about themselves. You are not the main character in their story.

“I can’t cope with this.”

You have coped with hard things before. Every single time. Your track record is 100%.

“I need to figure this all out right now.”

You don’t. Most things don’t need solving at 3am. Write it down and return to it tomorrow.

“Something bad is about to happen.”

Maybe. But worrying about it now won’t change it. What can you control, right now, today?

Anxiety lies. You don’t have to believe everything it tells you.

One month today.

September 19th. World Su***de Prevention Day. Our annual awareness event.

Last year over 80 men showed up. Men who had never spoken about their mental health. Men who came alone and left knowing they weren’t.

This year we’re going bigger.

We’ll have more to share with you very soon, location, timings, everything. But right now we want you to do one thing:

Not for us. For the man in your life who needs to know this exists. The one who’s been quiet lately. The one who’d never search for this himself but might just turn up if someone told him about it.

One share could change everything for someone.

Shame is different from guilt.

Guilt says: I did something bad.

Shame says: I am something bad.

And for men, shame is everywhere. Shame about struggling. About not earning enough. About the relationship that broke down. About not being the dad you wanted to be. About needing help.

Shame is the thing that keeps men silent the longest.

It’s the reason men wait an average of ten years before seeking help for a mental health problem.

Because asking for help feels like proof of the thing you’re most ashamed of.

It isn’t. It’s proof of the opposite.

Reaching out takes more courage than suffering in silence. Every single time.

You are not your worst moments. You are not your struggles. You are not what shame tells you you are.
