A few weeks ago I had some photographs taken with my daughter and little granddaughter, who’ll be one next week and I feel so incredibly grateful that I got to create these memories with them both.

When I was in my teens and twenties, I had a idea of how I thought my life was going to turn out. It probably wasn’t a very clear one and, if I’m honest I don’t think I ever looked that far ahead anyway.

Because to be truthful in my 20s I thought being in your 50s was positively ancient!

I certainly couldn’t have imagined this part of my life, watching my daughter become such a wonderful mumma and having the absolute joy of being Effe’s granny.

Seeing the three generations together in these photos feels really special.

Over the years, little by little, life takes you in directions you never expected. Some of those directions are challenging, some are wonderful but all of them teach us something if we’re open to receiving those lessons... and the blessings too.

People often say life goes by quickly and I think when you’re younger you understand that in your your head. As I’ve got older, though, I’ve started to experience it differently. I notice these moments more and I don’t take them for granted, ever.

These photos are something I’ll treasure forever…

3 generations, 3 hearts connected🤍🤍🤍

Today’s bowl spotlight is this gorgeous collection of sharp notes.

A set of three sharp notes was actually my first collection of crystal singing bowls so I’ve always been drawn them.

They seem to have a brightness to them and I love the uplifting quality of the sharp notes and the way they just always work together within a set.

Seeing which bowls people are naturally drawn to and exploring the combinations that emerge from that has been a real gift since bringing these bowls to the Studio and you are always welcome to come and spend some time with the bowls here, whether you’re looking for your first bowl or adding to an existing collection.

Our bowls are handmade from 99.99% ethically sourced, pure quartz crystal. It’s the purity of the quartz that contributes to their beautiful tone, long sustain and each bowl’s individual character.

Carefully tested for their sound quality, before making their way to the studio here in Lymington, Hampshire.

DM me for information on individual bowls, curated sets, or private consultations.

My son turns 30 today, which feels almost impossible to say out loud.

It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was tying shoelaces, reading bedtime stories and we were trying to make sense of the world together.

Then before you realise it they’re building a life of their own, making their own decisions and finding their own place in the world.

Parenthood is full of transitions, with every stage asking something different of you and every stage asking you to let go a little more.

Your role changes as your children grow and so does the relationship.
It has to, because that’s exactly what we hope for.

They become their own person, and you learn to stand alongside them rather than in front of them.

I’m in a different season of life now… I’m a Granny now but I’m still a mum and I’ve realised those parts of life simply sit alongside each other.

The worrying never completely goes away, you just worry about different things.

You stop worrying about scraped knees and school reports and start hoping they’re happy, healthy and finding their own way.

I think that’s the unfolding of life really…. Every stage brings its own adjustments and just as you get used to one, another comes along.

Thirty years have gone by in what feels like the blink of an eye. It’s just different now... and that’s exactly as it should be 🩵

And yes, my haircut and sunglasses were fashionable in the 90s, I think?

I was also laughing at my reaction vs my son’s on a roller coaster 🫶

July has a way of inviting us outdoors, into longer days, lighter evenings, and a different pace of life. Amidst all that’s unfolding, it’s just as important to create moments that bring you back to yourself.

For me, yoga is always that place to return to. A space to move with intention, breathe deeply, build strength and flexibility, and reconnect with your body in a way that feels supportive and nourishing.

Our weekly classes are gentle, mindful, and suitable for beginners or anyone who prefers a slower, more restorative approach to practice.

Weekly Yoga Classes
Wednesday | 9:30am
Thursday | 6:00pm & 7:30pm

Alongside my weekly classes, I’m also holding two Sound Healing sessions this summer for anyone wanting time to pause more deeply.

Sound Healing
Sunday 12th July | 10:00am
Wednesday 12th August | 7:00pm

All Sound Healing Practitioner Trainings are now fully booked for 2026, but the waitlist for 2027 is officially open. If you’d like to be first to hear when spaces become available, simply send me your email address and I’ll add you to the waitlist.

I also offer 1:1 yoga sessions if you’re looking for more individual, personalised support.

All details and bookings are on the website, or message me for more details: wellbeingwithkim.com

That combination is something I have come to recognise.

Very few people decide to train as sound healing practitioners simply because they want to learn to play crystal singing bowls.

By the time you begin exploring this work, you have often already started questioning whether the life and career you have built are still the ones you want to keep building.

You want your work to matter and you want the freedom that comes from creating something of your own.

You want to support people in a way that feels genuine, whilst building a life that reflects what is important to you.

For many practitioners, sound healing becomes the path through which those different aspirations begin to come together.

Learning to facilitate is about far more than acquiring practical skills. It is about developing the confidence and relationship with sound that allow you to create meaningful experiences for others, whilst creating work that feels deeply connected with who you are.

The 2026 Sound Healing Practitioner Trainings are now fully booked, and the 2027 waitlist is open.
So if you would like to be among the first to hear when the next dates are released, send me a DM with your email address and I’ll add you.

A few moments from a recent trip to Sicily.

Ancient temples, beautiful beaches, incredible food and a few days spent exploring with Justin.

Standing amongst structures that have remained for thousands of years has a way of putting things into perspective.

These places seem to exist entirely outside of the pace and urgency that so often shapes modern life and I appreciated the reminder that some things need time to unfold in their own way.

Very grateful a wonderful few days together 🩵

Over the bank holiday we celebrated our first wedding anniversary, which still feels slightly strange given we’ve been together for nearly nine years and found each other a little later in life.

We’ve both lived whole chapters before each other and yet there’s something very simple about us together. The weekend was quiet and uncomplicated in the best possible way.

A little reminder that life rarely needs to be grand to feel meaningful.

You wake up expecting a normal rhythm to your day, and within a moment everything rearranges itself in a way you could not have planned for, which is exactly what this week has asked of us as my husband put his back out and suddenly both life and business asked for a kind of re-centring.

When you are both self employed, your mind moves quickly into the practicalities of what this might mean.

How long recovery could take, what needs to shift and where uncertainty might lead, yet underneath that turbulance there is also a reassuring awareness of what is already here and holding you.

In our case, the home we have built, the flexibility we have created, the way work allows us to respond rather than react, and the space to meet these moments without everything collapsing around it.

This is the part that feels important to stay connected to, because your experience is shaped not only by what happens but by where your attention lands while it is happening.

In that space you begin to notice that support already exists, resilience is already within, and the life you have created has more capacity than you sometimes give it credit for.

Holding both the unknown and the stability at the same time changes the quality of how you move through moments like this, and it becomes less about controlling what happens next and more about staying grounded in what is already stable, trusting that you will meet whatever unfolds from that place.

If today is asking something unexpected of you, bring your awareness back to what is still working, what is still supportive and what is still yours to anchor to, because that is where your strength actually lives.

Sending love
