πŸ’Š New Campaign Launch: Only Order What You Need
This June, we’re running a campaign to help reduce medicine waste and support safer use of medications.
Did you know that millions of pounds worth of medicines is wasted every year? Many of these items go unused and cannot be recycled or given to other patients.
We’re encouraging everyone to take one simple step:
πŸ‘‰ Only order the medication you actually need.
By checking what you already have before reordering, you can:
βœ… Reduce waste
βœ… Stay safe and avoid confusion with your medicines
βœ… Help ensure medicines are available for those who need them most
πŸ’‘ Small actions make a big difference
Next time you order your prescription, take a moment to check your supplies first.

Dear Patient,
Your GP practice is one of a group of local practices that are coming together to form a federation of local practices in Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre.
This partnership will allow our practices to work together more effectively β€” sharing resources, offering more services locally and having a stronger voice in decisions about healthcare in our community.
It will not change your registration with your current GP practice, and your relationship with your own practice will continue as it is today.
Before we decide what this federation should focus on and how it should work, we want to hear from the people who matter most: our patients.
This short survey asks for your honest views about what matters to you about your GP care β€” what you value most, what you would never want to change and what could be better.
There are no right or wrong answers. Every response will be read and will help shape what this partnership stands for and what it commits to.
The survey takes around 5–8 minutes to complete.

Your responses are anonymous.
They will be analysed alongside the views of GPs, Practice Managers and other health partners, and a summary of what patients told us will be shared with Patient Participation Groups after the analysis is complete.
Thank you for taking the time to have your say.
