Especially for this lovely lady; tiny amounts of meticulously placed dermal filler and her confidence has BOOMED!! 💥

Nothing major, no extreme or drastic changes in her appearance; just finely tuned treatments and softening her areas of concern.

Prior to treatment, she was nervous, apprehensive, having never had any dermal filler before and absolutely didn’t want to look ‘done’ and I think you’ll all agree that she looks fantastic! She did initially decline to share her photos but after seeing her results she was super happy to share them!

I’m so grateful for her in trusting me with this process and of course showcasing these incredible before and afters. 🤩

Not every treatment is straight forward. ❌

Check your skin, regularly. If something’s new or changed, get it looked at. Even if you’ve had it assessed before and told it’s ’nothing to worry about’ - just like this lovely patient of mine.

If it’s nothing, happy days and peace of mind.
If it is something sinister, the earlier it’s treated the better the outcomes.

Sun (UV) damage is cumulative. Exposure builds up over a lifetime. Skin cancer risk is increased.

But that doesn’t mean that only older people get skin cancer.

This lady was 49. Not a ‘sun worshipper’ and yet had been told her skin cancer (Basal Cell Carcinoma) was likely caused by sun exposure.

It has presented on her right cheek; most probably from daily exposure from her car window whilst driving and not wearing any sun protection.

Skin cancer doesn’t always look scary.
It doesn’t always itch, crust or bleed.
It doesn’t care if you never burn.
It doesn’t discriminate.

This is just another real reminder to WEAR YOUR SPF.
Every. Single. Day.

Just a little reminder 🔔

I’m so grateful that clinics are very busy, but this leaves time only for your treatment.

Please ensure your appointments are confirmed ASAP to secure your booking and that your pre-treatment forms are up to date with any changes of personal details/medications etc, signed and ready to go prior to attending clinic.

You will know they are signed and completed when the form tab turns green. Green for go ✅

Your appointment doesn’t include any ‘admin’ time and this ‘eats’ in to your allocated slot time. Therefore if they are not completed, there may not be enough time to fulfil your treatment or it may be cancelled altogether.

By ensuring all is completed beforehand, this contributes to a smooth, streamlined clinic appointment, focussing entirely on you and your treatment.

I will never highlight ‘flaws’ or create insecurities for you.

You might come for a consultation wanting to find out your options to improve your skin, but not actually knowing what treatment would be best suited to you. And that’s ok, in fact most people come to clinic with a concern and wanting honest advice.

My job is to listen to your concerns, advise and guide you on what may help. Not to push any treatments, tell you what is ‘wrong’ or what you ‘need’.

If you ever hear this from any other practitioners, run!! They are not professionals with a duty of care for you. They are trying to sell you the highest treatment price and convince you that you need it; putting profits over patients.

There is never any obligation for treatment at Victoria’s Aesthetics. Following consultation, I will often tell you to go away and think about it, having received all of the details and gained knowledge, so that you don’t ever feel pressured to book.

I may be in the minority of aesthetic nurses but I never treat on the same day as consultation. That time is protected for us to discuss and make a plan, not rush you into treatment.

Informed consent is an ethical and legal process within my practice as a nurse and you need to have all the information and time, to make that decision. It should never be a knee jerk reaction.

Consultations can be information overload and why a detailed treatment plan is key. There is absolutely no rush for treatments.

I’d much rather you mull it over and feel confident in your decision, than proceed with hesitation.
