You don’t need to know what filler you need before you book.

That’s actually one of the main reasons I’ve introduced my Facial Framework Assessment (FFA).

So many patients come to me knowing that something has changed maybe they feel more tired, notice their lower face changing, or simply don’t feel as fresh as they used to but they don’t know why.

An FFA allows me to look beyond the individual line or area that’s bothering you and assess your face as a whole.

We look at your facial structure, proportions, volume loss and where support may have changed over time, before creating a treatment plan completely individual to you.

It doesn’t mean having filler everywhere. It might be one area, several areas, or a gradual plan over time.

And if appropriate, treatment can be carried out on the same day.

Because good aesthetics starts with understanding the face not simply filling the line you can see.

You don’t need to know what filler you need before you come to see me.

So many patients know something has changed they feel more tired, notice their lower face changing or simply don’t feel as fresh as they used to but they have no idea what treatment to book.

And I don’t expect you to.

That’s why I’ve introduced my Facial Framework Assessment (FFA).

Rather than focusing on one line or one area, I assess the face as a whole looking at facial structure, proportions, volume loss and where support has changed over time.

Hollow temples. Flat cheeks. Preauricular hollowing. Changes around the pyriform area. Pre-jowls.

Sometimes the area you’re noticing isn’t actually where the problem started.

The FFA allows us to understand what’s changed and create a completely individual dermal filler treatment plan whether that’s one area or a staged approach over time.

Assess first. Treat second.

Sometimes lip filler isn’t about bigger lips.

With age, the lips can gradually lose volume, structure and projection, which can leave them looking flatter and less defined.

For this patient, the aim wasn’t to create a completely different lip. It was to gently restore what had been lost improving structure, definition and subtle projection while keeping everything in proportion with the rest of her face.

And this is exactly the type of result I love.

No oversized lips. No dramatic change. Just a softer, fresher version of what was already there.

Lip filler should work with your age and your anatomy not against it.

Migrated puffy lips are still more common than you think.

BIG PUFFY DUCK lips are how a lot of patients think they will look after having any type of lip filler with any practitioner.

This is incorrect, there are different styles and technique when treating the lips. Which all play a part on how the lips will look.

If you already have migrated lips but are scared of dissolving or you are interested in a natural youthful lip then drop a comment below with the word ‘LIPS’.

Something is changing… 👀

The last few years have brought a lot of growth, a lot of lessons and some pretty big decisions along the way.

And now it feels like the right time for the next chapter.

I’m not quite ready to tell you everything just yet… but change is coming.

And I’m very excited about this one. 🤍

This is what treating the face as a whole can do.

Rather than chasing individual lines, the aim here was to restore support and balance in the areas where it had been lost.

By strategically treating the mid-face and surrounding areas, we’ve softened the overall appearance while keeping everything looking completely natural.

What I love most is that she doesn’t look different. There’s no one feature that screams “filler” — she simply looks fresher, softer and more rested.

This is always my approach to full-face rejuvenation: assess first, treat what is actually causing the changes, and use filler to restore rather than alter.

You should still look like you. Just refreshed.

A little glimpse of what happens behind the treatment room door…

Aesthetics isn’t simply about injecting filler.

Every treatment starts with assessing the face as a whole looking at proportions, movement, volume loss and where support would actually make a difference.

Then comes product choice, placement and technique.

Sometimes that means treating the area you’ve noticed. Sometimes the area causing the change is somewhere completely different.

The aim is always the same:

Thoughtful treatment. Subtle changes. Natural results.

Because good aesthetics should enhance your face, not announce itself.

This is what so many patients STILL think lip filler looks like…

Over-projected lips. That obvious “duck” appearance. Filler sitting above the lip. A shape that just doesn’t look natural.

And honestly, I understand why it puts people off.

But lip filler doesn’t have to look like that.

Product choice, technique, placement and knowing when enough is enough all matter.

I’m not interested in forcing your lips into a fashionable shape or creating an exaggerated result. I want to work with your natural anatomy, maintain softness and create lips that actually suit your face.

Because good lip filler shouldn’t enter the room before you do.

Natural shape. Soft movement. Balanced results.

“10ml of filler?! Absolutely not, I don’t want to look overfilled.”

This is something I hear ALL the time.

But what patients often don’t realise is just how small 1ml of filler actually is and when we’re treating several areas across the whole face, it really doesn’t go very far.

A full-face treatment plan can sometimes involve multiple millilitres strategically placed across areas such as the cheeks, temples, chin or pyriform fossa, yet the end result can still be subtle and natural.

The number of millilitres alone isn’t what creates an overfilled face.

It’s about appropriate patient selection, product choice, placement, technique and, importantly, knowing when enough is enough.

Sometimes it takes more product than you expect to create a meaningful full-face change but the goal should never be to simply use more filler.

It’s about using the right amount, in the right places, for your face.

4 misconceptions I hear ALL the time in aesthetics…

There’s still so much misinformation around injectable treatments, and these are four things patients regularly say to me in clinic.

From thinking you’ll suddenly age if you stop having anti-wrinkle treatment, to assuming we should put filler directly into the line that’s bothering you.

Then there’s “1ml sounds like loads!” when in reality, 1ml is a very small amount of product.

And probably one of the biggest misconceptions… that all practitioners are essentially offering the same treatment, so you may as well choose based on price.

Aesthetics is so much more than injecting a syringe.

Assessment. Anatomy. Product choice. Technique. Experience. Knowing when to treat and, importantly, when NOT to.

Good aesthetics should always start with understanding the face, not simply treating what someone asks for.

Which one did you believe?
