Thank you to the beautiful women who attended tonight’s Moon Circle, it was a truly uplifting evening and I’m so grateful to you all.
I loved our writing meditation ‘unlearning’ it felt really powerful to literally rewrite the negative stories we tell ourselves, and I LOVED drumming and sending prayers around the fire. So gorgeous.
Oh and thank you for the surprise cake and singing happy birthday while I awkwardly hid behind my hands, I promise it was so appreciated I’m just never sure what you’re meant to do 😂
Love you all and can’t wait to see you all next time.

Rathcroghan and The Cave of The Cats
The Birthplace of Halloween

Here is my family just casually peering into the portal to the Otherworld.
Did you know that without this little cave, that Samhain or Halloween as we know it, wouldn’t exist?

In Celtic mythology, Samhain marks the transition of the harvest time to the dark part of the year. It is thought in Celtic folklore that on Samhain Eve the invisible wall or veil between our world and the Otherworld disappears entirely and this little cave was the portal in which the spirits would enter our world.

This cave was also said to be where the Goddess Morrigan lived, the Celtic goddess of war, death and sovereignty and was also known as ‘The mouth of the Morrigan’ - she would leave the cave on Samhain Eve to meet with Dagda, the leader of the fairy folk.

There is lots more to this story, which will be shared with my Ireland Samhain retreaters next year! I cannot wait 🖤

I have 2 private rooms left for this. Think luxurious and grand yet cosy, big open fires and comfy sofas, misty Autumn walks on the acres of land and woodland, deer spotting, comforting hearty food, long baths with spectacular views, as well learning about the traditional folklore and legend surrounding Samhain and soaking up the energy of this special time of year in the birthplace of Samhain. The beginning of August sees us welcome in the festival of Lammas, or Lughnasadh, the cross quarter festival which marks the liminal space between the peak of summer and the turning to Autumn.
A time to give thanks for the abundance we have harvested but also a time where we are called to acknowledge the changes that are on their way.
The sacred in between!
There is an unmistakable subtle shift at Lammas, that mirrors the human experience of holding different energies at once - energy and stillness, joy of life but sadness at what has gone. I’m looking forward to exploring these themes in our next Moon Circle on Friday 7th August.

Join us for gentle, mindful Lammas craft, sharing and reflection, simple ritual to share our harvest thanks and blessings, drumming and fire!

Feeling so grateful after a beautiful afternoon in Avebury with a wonderful group of women. It was especially nice to welcome some new ladies to our circle and to celebrate another special sisters birthday too!
I feel like everything just slowed down the minute our circle began, and it really did feel like the energy of Avebury was holding us and cocooning us today. It felt deeply nourishing as we called on the elements to help us release and to soothe and replenish.
Magic always occurs here and I feel so lucky!
Thank you Avebury, thank you to the brilliant women who joined with open hearts and thank you to my spirit team as always - Avebury will always be David’s place now and I could hear his voice so clearly 🥹🤍

My next Avebury event is on Sunday 1st November for a very special Samhain gathering! Places are very limited so don’t leave too long to book for this one.
