Supporting local wildlife, one treatment at a time 🦢

At Permanent Beauty, we believe in giving back wherever we can. Instead of simply disposing of the used disposable body towels and covers from our treatments, we donate them to Swan Life Line, a local swan rescue and rehabilitation charity.

These materials are repurposed to provide soft nesting and comfort for sick and injured swans during their recovery, helping us reduce waste while supporting an amazing local cause.

This is exactly why we never stop talking about SPF ☀️

Georgie applied SPF to just one side of her face before we put her under our skin scanner..

The UV damage image showed the SPF-protected side appearing significantly darker, demonstrating how much UV radiation was being blocked.

Daily UV exposure is one of the biggest contributors to premature ageing, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation (often called sun spots or age spots), uneven skin tone, collagen breakdown, loss of elasticity, redness, and broken capillaries. Most importantly, cumulative sun damage can increase the risk of developing skin cancer.

UV rays are present even when it’s cloudy, raining, or you’re spending most of your day indoors near windows so make putting your SPF on in the morning a habit, whatever the weather ☀️
