Healing from trauma (the result of one or more traumatic events and/or from living in a prolonged period of stress) doesn't happen overnight. It's taken weeks/months/years to end up in fight, flight or freeze. It may take just as long for your nervous system to feel like the calm, safety state is normal.
Don't give up.
One trauma release session, one meditation, one yoga class, one massage isn't going to heal your nervous system.
Yes, it will help.
But time, and a consistent practice of self care and doing the tools that I teach are what will really work.
