People ask me all the time how I programme.
Push. Pull. Squat. Deadlift. Carry.
Simple.

Because these movement patterns build real-world strength, confidence, muscle, bone health, balance and independence.

I don't need fancy exercises to impress people.
I use the fundamentals to show women just how capable they really are.

The woman who thought she couldn't squat? She can.
The woman who was scared to lift weights? She does.
The woman who thought she was "too old" to get stronger?

She isn't.

My job isn't to entertain women.

My job is to help them discover what they're capable of.

And that starts with mastering the basics.

Joint pain can be frightening.
Many women tell me they're worried that strength training will make their joints worse, so they avoid movement altogether.
The reality is that avoiding movement often leads to weaker muscles, reduced confidence, and more fear around exercise.
When strength training is introduced gradually and safely, it can help build strength around the joint, improve stability, reduce muscle guarding, and increase confidence in everyday movement.
You don't need to be pain-free before you start.
You simply need the right starting point and a progression that meets you where you are.
If you're worried about exercising because of joint pain, send me a message and let's talk about how we can get you moving safely and confidently.

"I don't have time to strength train."

It's one of the most common things I hear from women.
But there are 168 hours in a week.
I'm not asking for 20.
I'm asking for 2–3.

I'm a mum. I work. I run around after my children. I do the shopping. I keep the house running. I spend time with my family.

Life is busy.

But I still make time to strength train because I know it's not just about today.

It's about protecting my future health, my independence, my mobility, my confidence, and my ability to keep doing the things I love for years to come.

We make time for the things we value.
Your health deserves to be one of them.

Future-proof your body.
Your future self will thank you for it.

We rarely question the money we spend on convenience, comfort, entertainment, takeaways, coffee, subscriptions or alcohol.
Yet when it comes to investing in our health, strength, confidence and future quality of life, suddenly it feels expensive.
Personal training isn't about spending money.
It's about buying knowledge, accountability, structure, confidence and results.
Everything else is consumed and forgotten.
Your health is something you carry with you every single day.
The real question isn't whether personal training is expensive.
The real question is:
What's the cost of doing nothing?

Strong bones don't happen by accident.

If you're concerned about osteoporosis, osteopenia, bone density, strength, balance, or maintaining your independence as you age, my Bone Health Programme is designed to help.

We'll start with two 1-hour sessions per week for the first 3 months, giving you the opportunity to build confidence, learn proper lifting technique, understand bone-healthy exercise, and develop the strength needed to support long-term bone health.

After the initial 3 months, we'll transition to two 30-minute sessions per week to continue progressing and maintaining your results.

This is a structured, progressive programme designed to educate, empower, and strengthen you for life.

We often think progress comes from training harder, doing more, and pushing through.

But the workout is only the stimulus.

The adaptation happens during recovery.

If you're constantly exhausted, stressed, under-fuelled, sleeping poorly, or never allowing your body time to recover, you're missing the part where your body actually gets stronger.

Recovery isn't being lazy.

Recovery is where:

✔ Muscle is repaired
✔ Bone is strengthened
✔ Hormones are supported
✔ Energy is restored
✔ Your nervous system settles

For many midlife women, the answer isn't always another workout.

Sometimes it's better sleep.Sometimes it's more protein.Sometimes it's a rest day.Sometimes it's simply slowing down enough to recover.

Train hard enough to create change.

Recover well enough to benefit from it.

That's where the magic happens.

The hardest part of fitness isn't training. It's ignoring the tiny voice constantly singing about chicken wings and fries. 🍗🎵🍟
