I love listening to authentic stories from my clients...This beautiful lady told me her story how she moved to Dubai. Her parents emigrated to Dubai when she was a child and know one knew where is Dubai.
Her father and grandfather were pearl divers!

Did you know that Dubai’s very first wealth came from natural pearls?
Before oil, thousands of men worked as free-divers, going down 10–20 meters on a single breath to collect oysters. It was incredibly dangerous, and many divers tragically never returned.

If you visit Dubai Mall, you can see the famous waterfall with the pearl diver statues, created as a tribute to these men and their history.
