So much fun was had at our summer fete on Saturday, it was a lovely day for residents to spend the afternoon having fun with loved ones and friends making some wonderful memories. People from our Local community also visited helping to support The Lodge.

We are overjoyed with a rating of 'GOOD' for our recent CQC inspection.
Since SDM Care Homes Limited took over The Lodge in April 2024 the home has gone from strength to strength. The dedication of The Manager and the Team is outstanding, the staff team are truly committed in providing the highest standards of care to our wonderful residents and families.

Well what a week we have all had at The Lodge!

There is a never a dull moment and always so many happy faces.

We had The Quiet man to entertain and sing olde time classics which was really enjoyed by all and a good time to put our dancing shoes on along with reminiscence of the good old days.

We have had eyes down for our weekly game or two of Bingo

A wide variety of arts and crafts along with keeping our minds active with quizzes and word games

It was national tea day so we shared a selection of flavoured teas

Those who are green fingered got out in the garden to start preparing our vegetable patch

Lastly we had a great outing to Lathcoats farm and tea rooms, all enjoyed a day of animals, tea and cake along with lots of fresh air.
