Today we say our final goodbye to our much-loved colleague and friend, Sheila.

Sheila was at the heart of Prevent Breast Cancer, bringing warmth, kindness and light to everyone she met. She cared deeply for our volunteers, our community, and all those who came through the Nightingale Centre, creating a space that felt welcoming, supportive and full of compassion.

She wasn’t just part of our team, she was family. Her impact will stay with us always.

Our thoughts are with Sheila’s family and loved ones today. 💕

We were delighted to welcome Granada Reports to the soon-to-be-opened National Breast Imaging Academy, a major project proudly fundraised for by Prevent Breast Cancer. It was also a pleasure to welcome our patron Sally Dynevor for the visit.

Developed in collaboration with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Charity, the Academy is a major step forward in strengthening breast imaging capacity and improving early detection across the UK.
