Instead of deep breathing, focus on a slightly longer exhale.

Try:

inhale for 4 secs
exhale for 6 secs

You can use this relation mentally:

4:6

Practice frequently before the day and do it subtly while listening to the interviewer during the interview.

Longer exhales help reduce sympathetic nervous system activation without making you dizzy from overbreathing.
