In soma school we champion an authentic energy over a “good” energy
We have been teaching somatic coaching to space holders who have been expanding their practices for nearly five years now. A common question that comes up is around energy. Is there a right energy?

In the wellbeing space there has been a kind of rhetoric that says we must be in a good energy or in a good mood to hold a good space.

Aliveness = authenticity

And the quickest way to teach this, to let someone else really know what is possible, is to show them through our own lived experience and bodies.

At some school, all is welcome. This is a version of space holding that champions authenticity in the deepest way for the truest transformation.
