It was Patient Experience Week 2026 last week, and at Trafford Local Care Organisation (TLCO) 0-19 Children's Services, we’re celebrating the power of feedback!

From our Infant Feeding Team’s appearance on BBC Breakfast to our updated ‘First Foods’ sessions, your insights are directly improving how we support families in Trafford. Whether it’s through School Nursing or Health Visiting, we are listening, learning, and leading with care.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do 🧡💙

Our Trafford and South Manchester District Nurse teams came together recently for a productive session focused on one goal: improving patient care. By sharing insights and refining our processes, we ensure that our community receives the highest standard of support right at home.

Continuous learning and teamwork are what make our services thrive. Great to see the dedication in the room!

The Smile That Starts the Journey: Meet Carol 👋👏

First impressions are everything, and at Meadway Health Centre, we know that excellent care begins the moment a patient walks through the door or picks up the phone.

That’s why this , we want to shine a spotlight on Carol, our incredible Clinic Coordinator. As the first point of contact for all appointments, Carol is the face and voice of Meadway.

In line with this year’s theme, ‘Every Interaction Matters,’ Carol ensures that every patient is greeted with a warm smile and a helpful attitude. Whether someone is feeling anxious about an appointment or just needs a question answered, Carol sets a positive tone that makes all the difference in their care journey.

A huge thank you to Carol and all our front-of-house staff for embodying the true spirit of patient experience!

Improving patient experience isn’t just a goal - it’s something we all contribute to.

Throughout the week, we’ll be focusing on:
- Communication – How we connect.
- Safety – Our clinical priority.
- Feedback – Listening and learning.
- Appreciation – Celebrating our amazing colleagues.
