A huge thank you to the lovely team from SP Global who joined Blossom yesterday as part of 💚🌍

The team got stuck in supporting our gardens and green spaces, helping us care for this special corner of Wythenshawe Park for the benefit of people, plants, and wildlife.
We really appreciate your enthusiasm, hard work, and commitment to giving back to the community. We hope to welcome you back to the park again soon! 💚

Teamwork in the heat
Last week’s heat was a real challenge, but our brilliant Blossom team pulled together to keep the gardens and growing spaces cared for.
There was lots of watering, checking on vulnerable plants, giving extra attention to the glasshouse areas, and making good use of water from the butts to help us care for the plants more sustainably. Every can carried, every bed checked, and every little bit of shade found made a difference!
Hot weather can be tough on people and plants, but teamwork, kindness and practical action got us through. A huge thank you to our volunteers for showing up, looking after each other, and helping keep Blossom growing.

What a great time to visit the horticultural centre in Wythenshawe Park! So many cactus and succulents bursting into bloom 🌸. Magical to see rare and unusual plants and their flash of colour. Bees from love these flowers ❤️This is the reward for the fantastic conservation work our volunteers do 🥰

Well that was a lovely day! Yesterday we welcomed the team from Environmental Protection Environmental Health department who kindly gave their time for a day of gardening in our allotment with Blossom. Team work at its best 😁

Lovely morning @ Northwest Cactus Mart meeting old friends and new! Thank you for all the support from cactus and succulent enthusiasts who bought so many plants from us, all propagated at Wythenshawe Park ❤️🌵❤️
