Falls from bikes, scooters, skateboards and rollerskates are incredibly common. But some of these accidents can lead to life-changing head injuries.

Please encourage your child to wear a helmet every time they go out on wheels to protect their head. And, don’t forget to lead by example and wear yours too!

Remember no helmet = no wheels

A Personalized Asthma Action Plan (or PAAP),isn’t just a piece of paper that you stick on your fridge!

It’s your personal, bespoke plan for staying in control with your asthma or wheeze.

It shows you:
✔️ Your daily medications and how to use them 💨
✔️ What your “normal” breathing looks like 🫁
✔️ Early warning signs your asthma is getting worse ⚠️
✔️ Exactly what to do in each stage (green, amber, red 🚦)
✔️ When to get medical help 🚑

Because when you’ve got a PAAP, your asthma doesn’t run the show—you do! 💪💪

Small children aren’t the only ones at risk of swallowing magnets. Many teens and tweens have accidentally swallowed them too.

One common scenario is when they try to create a fake tongue piercing using two magnetic balls and accidentally swallow them.

It happens so easily. But the magnets can attract to each other inside the body, sticking together and tearing holes in your child’s gut. This can cause life-changing injuries.

⚠️Please talk to older children about the dangers of putting magnets in or near their mouths.
