🚨 Lip Blush Clients, This One Is Important 🚨

If you’ve ever had a cold sore in your life, even just once, I need to know before your lip blush appointment.

Not on the day.
In advance of your appointment.

Lip blush can trigger a cold sore outbreak in people who carry the virus, even if you haven’t had one for years.
The good news? It’s usually very easy to prevent.

Through The Teaching Clinics, I can arrange a prescription to help reduce the risk, but this needs to be organised in advance.

So if you’re booked in for lip blush and you’re thinking:

💭 “I haven’t had one since I was a teenager...”

There was a time when I thought success would look like reaching a destination.
Now I realise it’s something completely different.

It’s creating work I’m proud to put my name to.
It’s having the freedom to be present for the people I love.
It’s allowing creativity, artistry, education and growth to exist together.
It’s building something that feels aligned with who I am, not who I thought I had to be.

Creating a business, and a life, that feels authentic.

Maybe that’s why Becoming Her also feels so important to me.
Because the technical skills matter.
But who you become whilst building them matters too.

And honestly, if you asked me to list every reason I am proud of the journey I’m taking, we’d be here all day 🤍

“Why can’t the laser just remove all of it?”
It’s one of the most common questions I get during PMU removal.

The truth is, laser removal isn’t always the complete answer.
As we break down old pigment layer by layer, sometimes we’re left with tones that the laser struggles to identify. That’s because the laser is attracted to certain colours and depths within the skin, and occasionally some residual pigment remains.

This is where alkaline removal can be a really valuable option.
Rather than breaking the pigment down with light energy, an alkaline solution works by helping lift pigment towards the surface of the skin, allowing the body to remove it in a different way.

I often recommend it when:
• There is residual pigment remaining after laser treatments
• A client is not suitable for laser
• Someone feels anxious about laser treatment
• The goal is to remove as much pigment as possible without planning future brow work

Every brow removal journey is different, which is why a personalised approach will always achieve the best outcome.

No one-size-fits-all treatments.

This was never about creating another brow course.

It’s about helping women see what’s possible when they stop letting fear make the decisions.

The Foundation Brow Edit is where that journey begins, with brows as the subject, but confidence, growth and becoming the woman you’re capable of being at the centre of it all.

The first training dates will be live tomorrow, and honestly, I couldn’t be more excited to welcome the first women into this next chapter.

Can we talk about something? đź‘€

One of the biggest things that stops brows looking natural…is when there isn’t enough softness or movement left through the front and body of the brow.

Sometimes PMU or Microblading can be placed too densely, too uniformly, or without enough fluffy texture, which can take away from that effortless “real brow” effect.

Natural brows still need structure…but they also need softness.

The goal should never be “blocky perfection.”

It should be brows that move naturally with the face and still feel like you 🤍
