I wanted to use this time to reflect on the light we cling to.

Darkness is inevitable come the time of rest, but we are too exhausted to pay attention the moment we lay our heads, to think we give the internal so much neglect, but can envision colours and adventures of all our family & friends. The life we love is so vibrant and light, but we can never find the time to close our eyes, as and may surface as an unwanted surprise, yet we ignore every sign to enforce ego and pride.

If you never listen to the voice behind the breath, can you ever relinquish the cliche of "I've found myself", can you ever stay calm in an interview, will you ever move on from that family feud?

The point of this sonnet is to help you look within, to remind you to take a few breaths and be ok with things, and that nothing exists outside the now, and if you need to make a then that time is .

Practices such as breathwork are created to organize the internal house, tidying things that we have neglected from within, this practice of finding new space to create possibilities and invite new lessons, is key to our individual growth whether it be within a corporate setting, a class, or a 1 to 1 practice. Take a breath, a technique to be recycled 😮‍💨

We have become so comfortable in fight or flight mode, we often traverse stress without recognizing its presence. The subtleties of stress cues escape our understanding, and our states seamlessly interchange in the absence of awareness. One profound indicator lies in our breath, revealing the silent shifts within.

Some of the signs of stress;

Shallow breathing can be an indication that you’re stressed, we go into fight or flight and if we do not use this extra oxygen by running or fighting, there is temporarily an imbalance in the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide in our blood.

High levels of stress impair sleep, sleep deprivation activates the body’s stress response system, resulting in increased levels of stress hormones, such as cortisol, which in turn further disrupts sleep.

Stress can cause your muscles to tense up — and over time, that can lead to pain and soreness in virtually any part of the body. The most common stress-related aches and pains are in the neck, back, and shoulders.
