Your core isn’t just “abs”—it’s your body’s powerhouse. A stable, well-conditioned core:

Reduces back pain by supporting your spine
Improves posture and balance for everyday movement
Boosts performance in sports and workouts
Lowers injury risk by keeping hips and pelvis aligned
Try these physio-approved moves 3–4x/week:

Dead bug – 2–3 sets of 8–10/side
Side plank (knees or feet) – 2–3 x 20–40 seconds/side
Bird dog – 2–3 sets of 8–10/side
Glute bridge – 2–3 sets of 10–12

Did you know Strava now enables recording of Physical Therapy? bringing users closer to a full picture of Their Fitness Journey. With the launch of Physical Therapy, athletes can say 'I showed up today, I did the work, and I'm still moving forward.'” said Matt Salazar, Strava's Chief Product Officer.
