Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This one’s been sat in my brain for ages.

A little heart made from needles in the colours of the Pride flag, with a little nod to where so much of modern piercing came from.

Body piercing didn’t just appear overnight. The modern industry owes a huge amount to q***r communities, leather culture, and the people who embraced body modification long before it was socially accepted. They helped shape the culture so many of us are lucky enough to be part of today.

Not every piercing project starts in the studio…
LDK Piercing and I met this lovely client at his place of work and both immediately clocked the potential of his ear. A quick conversation, some planning, and a little while later we got to start bringing the ideas to life.
I purposely waited until after downsizing to share this one because I wanted to see how everything was healing, I could not be happier with how they’ve settled.
There are already plans for the next additions, and I’m so excited to keep creating with this ear.
Thank you for the trust, the patience, and for saying yes when we said “we have an idea…”

Piercing another piercer always feels extra special
I got to add this gorgeous double conch to ear and I’m obsessed with the final look.
We offset the top conch slightly so it’s more visible from the front and it worked perfectly with this jewellery setup.

With the prettiest custom made white opal piece in 14kt white gold from complete with a funky lil white gold chain, paired with a titanium threadless Spline from on the lower conch.
This opal throws so much shine in person that my camera genuinely struggled.

Helix piercing with a double marquise gem and a tiny dangle anodised to a warm gold so it all flows nicely.
