Your health is your power. We are hosting an interactive, informative event dedicated to breast health, and we would love to see you there!
Please note: breast cancer affects men too, so this event is open and highly relevant to everyone!

Expert Guidance: Meet with a General Practitioner (GP) for a live breast model demonstration carried out on a dummy to learn exactly what to look and feel for.
• Information Tables: Grab resources on prevention, screening schedules, and community support groups.
• Fun Activities: Take part in our exciting raffle, enjoy charm bracelet making, and much more!

💚 A Huge Thank You! 💚

🧠 ADHD Awareness Month

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that affects people's behaviour. It can include symptoms such as difficulty concentrating, impulsiveness and feeling restless or constantly active.

ADHD can affect people in different ways and can have an impact on everyday life, education and relationships.

If you think you or your child may have ADHD and it is affecting daily life, speak to your GP about what support may be available.

❤️ National Cholesterol Month

Cholesterol is a fatty substance found in your blood. Your body needs some cholesterol to work properly, but having too much can increase your risk of serious health problems such as heart disease and stroke.

High cholesterol does not usually cause symptoms, so you may not know you have it without a blood test.

Eating a balanced diet, being physically active and taking prescribed medicines as advised can help manage cholesterol levels.

Speak to your GP if you are concerned about your cholesterol or cardiovascular health.

☕💚 Macmillan Coffee Morning

Join us at Peterloo Medical Centre on Sunday 11th October for our Macmillan Coffee Morning, running alongside our Flu Clinic.

Come along, enjoy a cuppa and some treats, and help us raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

There will also be a table hosted by NIHR to promote research in primary care and give you the opportunity to find out more about how research can help improve healthcare.
