If you want healthy habits to become a permanent part of your life, read on…
I’m sure you know this:
What we think shapes our reality.
Our thoughts influence both mind and body - you knew that, right?
Trauma can leave traces in the body as well as the mind. Experiences, especially repeated or intense ones, can create patterns that keep us stuck. What you think constantly tells your body what your reality is.
Experiencing trauma can trap you in a mental loop, sending signals to your body that you aren’t safe.
I know how determined you are to change. You start a new routine, but it gets thrown out the window for one reason or another. Common trauma reactions show up: putting others’ needs first, or feeling inadequate when you reach a milestone (booking that first gym session, downloading a new recipe).
You feel like a failure and go in on yourself 🤷♀️
But you don’t have to. Using hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and positive experiences, you can train your subconscious to respond differently. You do have the ability to create healthy habits. Trauma may have blocked access to pleasant experiences, but it doesn’t erase them.
Briefly, because it matters: trauma rewires the brain to stay on high alert. Memory can be distorted, and certain triggers - words, smells, or environments- can make you relive something that is no longer happening.
If you’re trying to move on and create healthy habits but keep failing, don’t be surprised. It’s your brain trying to keep you safe.
With hypnotherapy, you can turn this around: health, habits, focus - you can quiet the alarm your brain has created.
One final thought: you have one life, and you deserve to enjoy it 👌
