✨ 8/8 aka The Lion’s Gate Portal ✨

There is a reason the 8/8 Lion’s Gate Portal has become so significant within spiritual communities. It is seen as a powerful time for awakening, alignment, intention and manifestation - a moment to pause, release what no longer serves us and become open to what we are ready to receive.

🌟 Sirius & ancient wisdom

Our fascination with Sirius is certainly not new.

Ancient Egyptians regarded Sirius as hugely significant. Its annual rising coincided with the flooding of the Nile, bringing renewal and fertility to the land, and it became associated with rebirth, life and new beginnings.

Sirius has also held significance across different cultures, religions and organisations throughout history. It is mentioned in the Qur’an, while the star has also been given symbolic importance within Masonic traditions. Humanity has repeatedly looked to the stars for guidance, meaning and connection to something greater than ourselves.

🦁 Why 8/8?

The modern Lion’s Gate tradition brings together the symbolism of Leo, Sirius and the number 8.

Eight is associated spiritually with abundance, balance, power and infinity - making 8/8 particularly meaningful for those working with intention and manifestation.

✨ Manifestation & the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is often presented in the Western world as a stand-alone universal law: think it, feel it and attract it. But this simplified version has become heavily commercialised, particularly within the modern self-help and manifestation industry.

The deeper understanding is far more nuanced. Our inner world matters. Our beliefs, emotions, expectations and the stories we continue to carry influence how we perceive the world, how we respond to it and, ultimately, what we create and allow into our lives.

Manifestation isn’t simply about thinking something into existence or attracting material possessions.

It is about alignment - bringing what we think, feel, believe and embody into greater harmony with the life we wish to experience.

🤍 Abundance begins within

You cannot truly embody abundance while part of you is still resisting it - holding onto fear, scarcity, lack, “I’m not enough” or the belief that you must struggle or sacrifice to receive.

Abundance isn’t simply a frequency expressed through the material world. It begins within.

When we create peace, safety and love within ourselves, we become more available to experience those qualities in our lives.

So perhaps this 8/8, don’t just ask:

“What do I want?”

Ask:

“What am I now ready to receive?”

This month’s Full Moon in Aquarius reminds us that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves. It invites us to lift our gaze beyond the individual and remember that we are all connected.

Aquarius is associated with vision, liberation and the collective. Under this moon, you’re invited to look beyond what is immediately visible and turn inward for wisdom, fresh perspective and inspired ideas.

Many within the spiritual community believe this is a powerful period of accelerated change, with some describing the current energy as one that is collapsing timelines - bringing us more quickly towards the life we are truly meant to live. Whether you resonate with that idea or simply feel that something is shifting, this moon offers an opportunity to pause and choose your next step consciously.

This isn’t only about changing habits, careers or relationships.

It’s about becoming more deeply aligned with who you truly are.

Take a few quiet moments for yourself tonight.

Rather than asking for answers, simply be present.
