It was a true pleasure to welcome Summer in today. Instead of birthday presents for her 11th birthday, she chose to support Maggie’s Manchester by asking for donations.

Summer raised an amazing £1,800, a testament to her kindness and the generosity of her community. Her selflessness will make a real difference, helping us continue to support people living with cancer when they need it most.

Just one week to go! 🌿
Join us on Sunday 21 June, 12–4pm, for Didsbury Open Garden Day at Maggie’s Manchester. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring beautiful gardens, with tea, cakes, live music and plant sales along the way.
This special event supports Moya Cole Hospice, with Maggie’s included in the scheme. Programmes (£6) are available locally.

This year, Ellie took on the London Marathon in memory of her Dad, who ran the very same race back in 1996. In a truly special moment, Ellie recreated her dad’s photo in the very same spot, honouring his incredible legacy and carrying his strength with her every step of the way. 🏃‍♀️

Thanks to her determination and generosity, Ellie raised an amazing £3,490 for Maggie’s Manchester, helping us continue to support people living with cancer and their loved ones.

Ellie, we are so grateful. Thank you for turning your memories into something so powerful for others. 💛

One week to go before our fantastic Eid Charity Dinner!

Join the Oldham and Manchester communities for a charity dinner supporting Maggie’s Oldham and Manchester, raising money to help us support those living with cancer when they need it most.

Taking place at the Eastern Pavilion in Oldham on Wednesday 17 June at 6:00pm, this event promises to be a fantastic celebration of Maggie's Greater Manchester and Eid 🐝🌙.

At Maggie’s, we’d like to say a big thank you to Jo. At the Big Highland Fling for Maggie’s Manchester, Jo donated to pay for a day’s worth of support from one of our expert Cancer Support Specialists in-memory of her brother.

Our Cancer Support Specialists are experienced oncology nurses, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals. Experts like these are here for everyone living with cancer, as well as their friends, family, and loved ones.

This Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers who help make Maggie’s Manchester everyone's home of cancer care, today, tomorrow and always.

From caring for our beautiful garden 🌿, to greeting centre visitors with a friendly smile 😊, or simply stopping to say hello, your kindness, time and compassion create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported and understood. We couldn’t do it without you.
