These beautiful delicate peonies have been rescued from the winds and rain during our June monsoon!
I always want to leave them in the garden so that they can thrive in their natural environment but at this stage they need a little extra support! There are plenty of other budding flowers that I am sure will survive when calmer weather arrives.

We are a little like this too.Sometimes we or our loved ones need a little extra support, holding and safety when things become challenging and at other times when resilience is higher and there is a sense of being in a safe container we can be left to our own devices.

Svastha yoga is very responsive in this way, giving us the tools to meet ourselves exactly where we are at any moment.
There is no one size fits all as we each have our own individual experience of life.

Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for individualised or small group practices.
And you can join me next week online for my early morning practices zoom code here https://janecraggs.co.uk/online-timetable/.
It is also a small group session and if you are new get in touch to tell me a little about you.

Take care of your precious selves x

I have been quiet here for a couple of weeks.Sometimes we just need to work with our practices to support us through life’s ups and downs.

As you may already know, the practices of Svastha yoga are designed to help you integrate simple tools into your daily life.

Pranayama week is a great place to do this! Daily early morning online sessions where we guide the body through 40 minutes of slow breath led movement and then 20 minutes sitting with the breath, integrating a Bhava for change and mantra to support this.

You are welcome to join for the whole week or just a couple of sessions and I will record the sessions to be used later on.

You can pay here to book

I look forward to seeing you again soon

This month leads us to the longest day, a day when the earth in our hemisphere is receiving the most energy from the sun. In ayurveda we are in the season of pitta, where heat and inflammation can become an issue for some. We also inadvertently overdo it at this time as there is so much going on and we want to make the most of being outside and with friends and loved ones.
So in this session we will try to gently temper any imbalances we may be feeling, dependent on our individual constitution. This practice will hopefully leave you feeling gently energised and refreshed with a sense of improved mental clarity.

I love sharing these steady, supportive ,breath led practices which are designed to be inclusive and responsive. Not only will you get to rest and re set ,you will also learn a little bit more about the frameworks that underpin this amazing system.

You can now book here on this online shop on my website.

One of the many things which sets the Svastha Yoga Therapy 300 hours apart from many courses is the small group size.
This not only means that I can meet you exactly where you are and adapt teaching accordingly, but also you can feel safe and supported.

The system of Svastha, built on the teachings of Sri T Krishnamacharya ,is based on this idea of individualising practice. There is no ‘one size fits all” instead we learn to respond with adaptable protocols which span all domains of our lives.

Groups will usually be between 7 and 12 students with the possibility of the group slightly expanding and contracting depending on the module.

If you would love to learn more about this amazing course which has been expertly crafted by Dr Ganesh Mohan and his parents AG and Indra Mohan then please get in touch to arrange a discovery call.

I will be doing another taster session in June ,will share details soon.

Join me this afternoon for ‘The Breath is my Friend:finding stability’ at The Yoga Rooms in Chorlton (2-5).There are still a few spaces , it being bank holiday weekend.

As so much of what surrounds us can create a feeling of uncertainty, we will use our practice to cultivate the opposite.

The month of May is one of fullness and hope, we will take that feeling and combine it with steadying practices.

In this session we will prioritise the breath as always, combining it with invitational practices that encourage agency and choice. We will combine a feeling of steady rootedness with the openness and fullness of the month of May.
