​Sickle Cell Care Manchester is excited to host Connect & Care: Redefining Life with Sickle Cell

This unique social hangout and panel event is designed specifically for young people living with Sickle Cell.

​Navigating early adulthood, higher education, careers, and health changes can feel overwhelming. This relaxed event is built to offer real support, practical advice, and a safe space to connect with peers who share similar experiences.

​Key Discussions Include:

​Navigating the Medical World: Transitioning smoothly from pediatric to adult healthcare.

​Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Guidance on college, university life, employment rights, and early career stages.

​Relationships & Dating: Managing friendships, romance, and having "the talk."

​Strong Warrior Fatigue: Addressing emotional burnout, mental health, and self-care.

By joining Medicare at Alexandra Park, you help spread awareness and support lifesaving efforts across our community in partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant, Manchester City Council, and parkrun.
