One of the biggest misconceptions I see is patients thinking Botulinum Toxin alone will completely transform the skin.

While it is excellent for softening dynamic lines and preventing deeper expression lines from forming, overall skin quality still plays a huge role in how the skin looks and ages over time.

Things like collagen levels, hydration, pigmentation, texture, sun damage, and skin health cannot be ignored.

This is why the best outcomes usually come from combining aesthetic treatments with good skincare, daily SPF, and a long-term approach to skin health overall.

It’s never about choosing one or the other, they work together.

One thing people may not realise is that a lot of my best work never makes it onto Instagram.

I specialise in a wide range of aesthetic treatments and medical skincare, including full-face rejuvenation and tailored treatment plans, but many patients understandably prefer to keep those results private and maintain anonymity.

This is one of the reasons lip filler is often the easiest treatment to share online, because results can be shown without revealing somebody’s identity.

Social media only ever shows a small part of what I do day to day. The real focus has always been natural, personalised results and helping patients feel more confident in themselves, whether those results are shared publicly or not.
