We know things are really tough for a lot of trans and non-binary people right now — but you don’t have to go through it alone 💛

That’s why we’ve teamed up with Gendered Intelligence to create Waiting Well l — a pilot supporting trans and non-binary people in South West England on the national waiting list, with spaces to connect, talk and feel affirmed.

It’s free and open to people in South West England (18+, registered with Exeter / The Laurels GIC).

We know many people have been waiting for this, and it has important implications for LGBTQ+ people. As an organisation committed to delivering safe, inclusive services, we need time to understand the legal and practical impact fully. Its vital responses are careful, accurate, and don’t add to misinformation or harm.

This comes at a time when LGBTQ+ people already face barriers to accessing services. Misinterpretation could increase fear, reduce trust, and deepen inequalities.

We urge organisations to take time, consult affected communities, and seek expert advice before acting.

If you’ve caught BBC News or BBC Radio, you might already know… it’s LGBT Foundation's Village Angels' 15th birthday weekend 🎉💖

And our Village Angels? Still out there doing what they do best - even on their birthday!

If you’re heading into the Village this weekend, go say hi, wish them a happy birthday, and give a proper thank you for everything they do to keep our community safe and welcoming (you might even get a little surprise 👀✨)

Can’t make it down? Drop them some love here - like, comment, share - and we’ll make sure it gets back to them 💬💞

What does hope and joy mean to you? ✨

This week, LGBT Foundation is proud to be joining forces with hundreds of charities, communities and faith groups for A Million Acts of Hope, to remind Britain that hope can be louder than hate.

Over the last year we've been asking what q***r hope and joy means to our communities - at Pride, on the streets, and in your everyday lives. This week, we want YOU to share what gives you hope or something hopeful you're doing, using the hashtag and tagging us and .

With your support, we'll be launching our biggest national campaign yet all about everyday moments of hope and joy - so share widely, get involved and help us spread q***r hope and joy this summer!
