Look at this lovely shiatsu for the shoulders from Barbara! She is one of our teachers, so you can learn some great shoulder techniques from her - or pop down to get some shiatsu from her just for you!

Many of my clients come for Shiatsu because of their shoulders tension.

Everyday stresses, desk jobs, lack of movement, or too much driving can make you feel stuck in your shoulders.

Shiatsu with its gentle teqniques, as pressure, acupressure, lengthening, and rocking, may help you as it does with many of my clients, to feel more at ease in your body.

⭐️ Practitioner Spotlight: Hannah Mackay - Shiatsu and creativity ⭐️

Hannah has been practising Shiatsu since 1997, and is the branch leader at Shiatsu College Manchester. She has a PhD in Psychotherapy Research, and also completed postdoctoral research on Shiatsu in the early 2000s.

She writes on Shiatsu practice, and has experience of working with a wide range of clients in varied settings. She enjoys dance and movement, poetry and nature, hanging out with friends and family, and being quite silly.

How can you work with her?

⭐️ Learn Shiatsu with Hannah and her colleagues at Shiatsu College Manchester.

Training begins in September each year for their 3-year professional Diploma, and 1-year Certificate course.

⭐️ Support your Shiatsu practice with Hannah’s regular CPD workshops in Manchester, and with their Shiatsu College Retreats in the Lake District. Join for individual tutorials and supervision, in person or over Zoom. Ask about bespoke packages to help you develop your Shiatsu practice.
