Today's spotlight is on Emi Tamai!
We are making posts celebrating our staff, students and graduates.
Feel free to like and share generously!

Emi is one of our teaching assistants at Shiatsu College Manchester. She graduated from our branch of the Shiatsu College in 2017, and she practised shiatsu in Bolton (link in comments, if you want to connect with her!)
She is an excellent shiatsu practitioner, who continues to develop her practice, and she has had some lovely testimonials - here is one:

From the moment I walked into Emi's treatment room I knew that I was going to be treated with kindness. Emi has a truly gentle presence which transpires into her treatment approach. Each
treatment has left me feeling deeply grounded and realigned. Emi respects the person you are when you enter the treatment space and responds to this by providing profoundly effective treatment.

Emi is one of several people in our community who has Japanese heritage. This year, she is going to share a little bit more about Japanese words and culture in one of our teaching sessions, which we are looking forward to! Shiatsu has its roots in Japan, and has been further developed by practitioners in different countries, including the USA, UK and other European countries.

Congratulations to Titus Leskov on completing his Shiatsu training with us at Shiatsu College Manchester! Titus is now MrSS (a Member of the Register of the Shiatsu Society) and has a Level 4 Diploma.

Always an enthusiast for Shiatsu, you can find Titus practicing in Kendal (link to his website in comments).

A great achievement, to complete all the requirements for learning, assignments and practice, and to develop everything you need to be a great shiatsu practitioner. Well done to Titus and all our students completing over the next few weeks and months.

Congratulations to Jo Tomalin, on completing her Shiatsu Diploma with us this year! She is now an MrSS practitioner, with a Level 4 Diploma.

We have really enjoyed Jo's presence in our classes, and we wish her well on her journey as a professional Shiatsu practitioner.

Getting our energy moving when it's a bit stagnant can be helpful (and fun!) at the start of a day's training with the Shiatsu College. It's also part of what we're offering when we are giving Shiatsu.
