A recent study looked at how people with advanced kidney cancer felt while taking belzutifan plus lenvatinib or cabozantinib.

People taking belzutifan plus lenvatinib reported symptoms and quality of life that were similar to people taking cabozantinib.

The results suggest that the combination did not add extra burden to daily life compared with cabozantinib.

We are supporting the NHS Stoptober, their annual mass participation stop smoking campaign.

The goal is simple: they want to encourage the remaining 4.4 million people who smoke in England to quit for good, by showing that they don’t need to quit on their own.

Join thousands of other smokers committing to quit this October.

There’s no need to go it alone. With the free NHS tools, advice and support, quitting is easier than you think.

To find out about the benefits of stopping and the help available please follow the link below:

In recent years, NHS cancer services have been under more pressure.

Cancer waiting times show how quickly people are being diagnosed and start treatment. They also help show whether NHS services are able to keep up with demand.

Getting tests, a diagnosis, and treatment as quickly as possible can reduce worry and uncertainty. Also, cancer is often easier to treat when it is found early, before it grows or spreads.

There are 3 main waiting time standards. These are NHS targets that show how quickly cancer services should diagnose people and start treatment.

Exciting results for a promising second-line treatment for advanced kidney cancer that has stopped responding to immunotherapy.

The results from a large clinical trial, called LITESPARK-011, have been published. This trial tested a new combination of tablets, belzutifan plus lenvatinib, and compared it with cabozantinib in patients with advanced clear cell kidney cancer that had worsened after immunotherapy had stopped working.

Belzutifan plus lenvatinib helped delay cancer growth compared with cabozantinib in patients with advanced clear cell kidney cancer who had already received treatment.

We would like to say a massive thank you to the awesome Pat Goodliffe.
On 18 July 2026 in Peterborough, Octogenarian Pat took a giant leap for kidney cancer and raised £1,000 for us and a similar amount for cancer Research.
As a result of the excellent treatment she received from Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, Pat wanted to give back and help support others in her situation. So she took to the skies and bravely made the jump following her recovery from a nephrectomy for kidney cancer.
Huge congratulations to Pat for her courage and amazing achievement. And a BIG THANK YOU to her family and friends who supported her fundraising activity.
