So lovely to attend a recent networking event and spend time connecting with local headteachers and education leaders 🤝

We had some really thoughtful conversations about our models of speech and language therapy in schools, alongside reflections on the proposed SEND reforms outlined in the recent government white paper. It was valuable to consider together what these potential changes could mean for school settings and most importantly, for the children and young people they support.

Whatever the system looks like, strong speech, language and communication support will always matter. We’re proud to champion communication as a foundation for learning, wellbeing and inclusion 💬✨

🐣🌼 Easter fun across Greater Manchester! 🌼🐣

Looking for budget‑friendly ways to keep the kids entertained this Easter? Greater Manchester is packed with free family activities! From Easter Explorer Trails in parks across the city to free swimming for young people during the school holidays, there’s something for every family. 🌳🏊‍♂️💛

You can join Easter family fun at Wythenshawe Civic, explore the Power Hall reopening exhibits, wander the Spring Trail at Heaton Park, or hop along to the Ancoats Green Easter Egg Hunt, all completely free. 🐰🥚🌈

And for young people aged 10–17, free wellbeing sessions are running across Ashton, Sale, Altrincham, and Urmston. These sessions offer a supportive space especially for neurodivergent young people to express, create, connect and have fun! ✨

⭐ What an incredible training day! ⭐

This week Emma and Leah had the pleasure of delivering a full day of training focusing on 'Building Communication Through Play' to a wonderful group of engaged and enthusiastic educators from .

Hearing such thoughtful feedback means so much to us! A huge thank you for engaging so openly, sharing your experiences and embracing new ideas to take back into your settings.

Play is powerful. When we use it intentionally, it builds connection, confidence and communication for children of all ages. We’re grateful to work alongside teams who are dedicated to creating inclusive, communication‑rich environments where every child can truly thrive.

Narrative intervention supports children to develop the skills they need to talk about their experiences, organise their ideas and share information with others.

It’s not just about imaginative storytelling, it’s about helping children explain what happened at school, share their weekend news with friends and feel confident communicating their thoughts.

🏮Happy Lunar New Year!🏮

We’re sending our warmest well wishes to all the families celebrating this special event and welcoming in the year of the horse.

Horses are known for their courage, energy and amazing ways of communicating. They whinny, neigh, stomp and swish their tails to share how they feel.

We’re helping our children explore their own communication styles too, using words, play, gestures and AAC to connect with others.

The Year of the Horse symbolises confidence, connection and forward momentum — a lovely reminder of the journey children take as they grow their communication skills.

Here’s to confident little communicators, trotting forward one step at a time 🐴💛
