🌞 During these soaring temperatures, Trisha (Clinical Support Worker) and Chris (Ultrasound Lead) from the Atlas team have been hard at work today supporting Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust with the final preparations for their ultrasound service at the Manchester and Trafford Community Diagnostic Centre.

The centre is nearly ready to welcome patients and will soon be providing vital ultrasound diagnostic services to the local community, helping improve access to care and reduce waiting times.👏🏥

🚨We’re excited to announce the launch of the Atlas Education Committee!

Led by Dr Paul Wheeler and Dr Gillian Hutchison, the committee is supported by a carefully selected team of highly credited industry professionals dedicated to advancing education and training across radiology. Members include Susan Atkinson, Jake Wheater, Saraaz Khalil, Raj Chagger, Imran Ulhaq and Paul Rowe.

At Atlas Diagnostics, we are passionate about supporting the development of sonographers, radiographers, and radiologists across both Atlas and the wider NHS. Through flexible, high-quality CPD opportunities, the committee will help drive our mission forward by assisting in the planning of educational study days, specialist training courses, and accessible online learning and resources.

We are excited to begin this journey and look forward to sharing more about the committee’s work in the months ahead! 👀

We had the pleasure of hosting our exclusive guests aboard the Floating Grace for a three-course meal and drinks, all while taking in the stunning views as we cruised through Liverpool’s scenic docks. It was a brilliant opportunity to connect, share ideas, and enjoy great company in a truly memorable setting.

This year we celebrate Paul Barker our Director of Quality and Governance. Over the past year, Paul has made a strong impact on the business, helping ensure we uphold the highest standards across the organisation.

With a career spanning 30+ years, Paul started out as a diagnostic radiographer and progressed into senior NHS leadership roles, including Director of Strategy for the Division of Imaging at the Northern Care Alliance.

A qualified reporting radiographer, Paul brings extensive experience across Atlas and our partner Trusts, consistently delivering high standards of clinical accuracy and audit performance.

Thank you, Paul, for your dedication and leadership - we look forward to many more milestones ahead.
