We're looking forward to attending the BMUS Obstetrics Study Day on 12th September in London, bringing together sonographers, clinicians and ultrasound professionals for a day of learning, discussion and professional development.

📢 Speaker Announcement | Meet Mark Charnock

We're delighted to announce that Mark will be joining us as a speaker at our upcoming Ultrasound Study Day.

Mark is a Diagnostic Radiographer by background and has been working in ultrasound since 2008. He is currently an MSK Specialist Sonographer, leading ultrasound services within a busy teaching hospital, with expertise spanning musculoskeletal, vascular, head and neck, and small parts ultrasound.

Alongside his clinical role, Mark is a passionate educator and advocate for professional development. He serves as an external examiner on an ultrasound course, guest lectures on postgraduate MSK programmes, and regularly presents at ultrasound study days and BMUS conferences.

With a strong interest in research and audit, Mark has contributed to several publications, peer reviews journal articles, and is an active member of both the BMUS Musculoskeletal Specialist Interest Group and Professional Standards Group.

We're looking forward to welcoming Mark and benefiting from his extensive clinical, educational, and professional expertise!

📢 Speaker Announcement | Meet Mark Maybury

We're delighted to announce that Mark Maybury will be joining us as a speaker at our upcoming Ultrasound Study Day.

Mark is a Physiotherapist, Sonographer, Independent Non-Medical Prescriber, and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, specialising in diagnostic and interventional MSK ultrasound within both clinical rheumatology and research settings.

With over 20 years of experience in ultrasound education, Mark has taught and mentored practitioners across the UK and internationally. He was one of the pioneering physiotherapists to establish point-of-care ultrasound in physiotherapy practice and continues to support the profession through lecturing, course leadership, and specialist training programmes.

A published author and active member of both the BMUS MSK Ultrasound Special Interest Group and BSR Ultrasound Special Interest Group, Mark regularly teaches on national and international ultrasound courses, including EULAR programmes.

We're looking forward to welcoming Mark and benefiting from his extensive clinical, research, and educational expertise.

🍰☕ Afternoon Tea Week at Atlas Diagnostics! ☕🍰

This week, our HQ team came together at our MediaCity UK office to celebrate Afternoon Tea Week with a charity bake-off, raising £500 for Pink Ribbon Foundation

From beautifully decorated cakes to tempting pastries and biscuits, the team certainly rose to the occasion. Choosing a winner was no easy task, with our last bake-off winner Marketing Apprentice, Meg, taking on the role of head judge and carefully sampling the entries.

🏆 Congratulations to Terri, whose show-stopping 'Lemon Ginger SPice' cake earned her the title of Afternoon Tea Week Champion and winner of her very own Star Baker spoon and apron!

This was a fantastic opportunity to bring colleagues together, support a great cause, share plenty of laughter, and enjoy some friendly competition. 🤗
