☕Only if you don't take care of them! Moisturise, hydrate, avoid excessive sun and your ink will last well.
😵Tattoo ink goes into your bloodstream...
☕The ink sits in your dermis (the 2nd layer of skin) which is why it doesn't just disappear.
😵You can't donate blood if you have tattoos...
☕Most places ask you to wait a few months after getting inked- check your local blood donation point rules.
😵Lasers erase tattoos like magic...
☕Some colours are stubborn, and complete removal isn't always guaranteed. You may need multiple sessions. It's more like a slow fade than deleting.

😵You can tattoo over moles...
☕This is discouraged! They need to be visible so it's easier to monitor for changes or detect skin cancer. Responsible artists will work around moles, not over them.
😵You can't tattoo over scars...
☕You can- but it depends on the scar type, age and texture. Raised (keloid) scars are harder to work with. The right artist will customise your design to work with / around scars to hide and camouflage.
😵You can't get certain tattoos depending on your skin tone!
