How do you word a post that announces the end of a much-loved business?

Do you start by expressing gratitude to all of the artists for their hard work, or perhaps by reminiscing over how it began, all of those years ago? Do you quote the immortal words of Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan and say “I believe our adventure through time has taken a most serious turn”?

All of those things, I could do for hours, but what I would really like to say, is thank you.

Thank you to every client who brought in their fun design ideas, and stories, and heartfelt friendship. Thank you to every artist, and staff member, who spent time in this studio, and who added something unique in their own way. Thank you to all of our friends and families, who have supported us in our endeavours at Redwood.

All businesses have their ups and downs, in much the same way life does, but we have had an amazing run here on Lever Street, and as we step off this awesome six year wave that we have been on, and disperse towards our new adventures, it brings me real happiness to remember that.

Morning everyone.
After weighing up whether the studio should be open, we believe it is the responsible thing to close our doors until we come through the other side of this.

We house a team of artists who are dedicated to their clients, but the health of our own team, and our clients (and all of those who would potentially come into contact with them) is the most important thing.

The coming months are going to be tough for all of us, but we are all in the same situation, and there is solidarity in that.

We hope everyone understands, and I look forward to the day we reopen and come back stronger than ever.

Our artists will be contacting any upcoming appointments.

Stay safe everyone, and stay home. The sooner we do so, the sooner this will pass.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE.

Due to recent national developments, our first thought is for the continued safety of our staff and clients, so we wanted to update everyone, and put our client’s minds at ease.

It is normal practice for our artists to use disposable, single-use tattoo supplies, and ensure that all work surfaces are sanitised in line with health and hygiene standards and regulations, between appointments.

We ask that all clients coming into the studio refrain from bringing friends with them, and that you use the hand sanitising products available as soon as you arrive.

If you are displaying any flu like symptoms, please contact us and reschedule your appointment. This is also relevant if you have come into contact with anyone with the virus.

It is our utmost priority to protect the health of all of our clients, and should there be any developments within the studio, all clients for upcoming affected appointments will be notified immediately.

We are dedicated to fulfilling all appointments, and with your help with the above, we will be able to do so :)
