Voice of BME Trafford Voice of BME Trafford (VBME-T) was set up in 2006, with an official launch on 16th February 2007. We are an active member of the Diverse Communities Board.

From very early days, the activities were very limited due to small funding opportunities. ‘VBME-T has been playing a strategic role in Trafford’. We have been a member of the Trafford Partnership Board for a number of years before it was re-organised.

We delivered two cohorts of 6 week and also a Trailblazer’s vision workshop
The celebration event was held on the 30.3.26 graced by the presence of Cllr Jane Slater

What an honour for the team of Voice of BME Trafford to meet with Mayor of Trafford Amy White along with High Sheriff Dr Eamonn O’Neil yesterday at Adam’s Day where community celebrated Unity in Diversity. One thing remained with me from High Sheriff’s address ‘ We need to build bridges not barriers’. Which is very true. The communities and people need to work together to keep the solidarity and to celebrate the cohesion amongst ourselves.
United we should stand.
