📣 Update for Our Patients Improving Your Care with AccuRx Scribe

🩺 We’re always looking at ways to make your time with us more focused, efficient and personalised, and that includes how we record what happens in your appointment.
To help with this, we’re now using AccuRx Scribe, an NHS-approved digital “note-taking” tool designed to support clinicians during your consultation.

Here’s what that means for you:
🗣️ More time focused on you – AccuRx Scribe listens to what’s said in the consultation and turns it into draft clinical notes in real time, so your clinician can spend less time typing and more time listening and talking with you.
📝 Accurate, clear records – The tool helps make sure important details are captured correctly and consistently, improving the quality and completeness of your medical record. Your clinician checks and edits everything before it’s saved to your records.
🔒 Your privacy matters – No audio recordings are stored. The conversation is transcribed live, and the audio is deleted straight away. Only the final drafted notes are retained as part of your record.
🤝 Your choice – Before AccuRx Scribe is used in your consultation, we’ll let you know and ask for your consent.
If you’d prefer we don’t use it for your appointment, just tell us, it won’t affect your care in any way.

We believe this tool will help us provide you with better, more personalised care, by giving us more time to focus on what matters most, you.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask a member of our practice team.
