Be grounded like a tree. 🌳

When we look at nature, what do you see?

When I see a tree.

I see balance. ⚖️

The branches reach to the sky because they are inspired to reach for the light. ☀️

The roots dig deep into the earth reaching for cleansing, refreshing and life giving water. 💧

The way in which the branches twist, turn and zig-zag here and there with little gaps reminds me of how similar our own anatomy is. It reminds me of the respiratory and the circulatory systems.

When I ground I like to imagine myself as a tree 🌳

I take in a deep cleansing breath.

The as I blow out I visualise my roots digging down deep into the earth.

I do this untill I feel calm and relaxed.

I then visualise a beautiful light surrounding me as I visualise white light moving up through my roots to my feet and up and around me.

As I breathe in the light moves up and as i breath out the light expands around me.

So ground like a tree, feel the benefits of this calming sensation.

Living in a city you cannot fully see the beauty of the night sky.

When was the last time you saw a blanket of stars in the sky with your own eyes?

I always feel lost in the beauty of the starry night sky. It reminds me how small I am in comparison to the size of the universe.
